I want this thread to be a bit of an experiment. Was considering posting it in forum games, but it's not a game, even though it does have a single rule.

Rule:
..woah.

=======================
Now accepting request for pocket watch and lock avatars!

Guys! Idea! To make it easier to know if there's updates, I'll increment the number in the front of the title every time I notice new stuff!
And then I'll make a note of what I noticed:
LOTS OF DUDES.

Alliances:
The Temporal Shenanigan's Alliance (We're winning, cause we got TIGER BLOOD)
GlyphGryph, Lord Dullard, Nilik

The Vectored Alliance (Exclusionary practices losing them members? YOU BETCHA)
Cameroon, Graebird, Lord Whiskers

The Penny-Palm Alliance (New kids on the Block)
WhitfoxSNAPPER

Avatar requests:
DarkWolf watch, pointing to XV, soaked in blood, blackmetal, called the DarkWatch
Jervill watch. Not actually requested, he will get one anyways.

Quote from: Whitefoxsniper
Some of us (not me) have high post per page and reading that without there actually being a page 2 must be weird.
This just means you can join either!

Unfortunately, nearly two days of inactivity in a two-day-old thread isn't a sign of longevity.
What makes you think there's been two days of inactivity? Remember, this thread doesn't count as "new' when people edit. :P

NOTE: I will most likely not be that active on this thread. Just a heads up.

Ponies got kinda close, there were games and such involving avoiding the presence of pony avatars, but there was never any real social pressure to join the herd. Not that there's much to join the penguins, but there is a little bit of poking and prodding, at least for anyone who showed up on the penguin thread lacking in penguin.

I'm certain that as things progress we'll only have a slow influx of members checking it out and keeping us afloat. WCS, we just have to surf back a few pages.

Welp, it seems that my nonsense post in the penguin thread has actually materialized into some kind of real time-paradox. It'll be interesting to see where this heads.

ETA #1:
I propose two new rules. One is to make the thread less confusing and give newcomers a reason to post. The second is to make things even more insane and confusing, in order to contribute to the paradoxical nature of the thread.

Rule #2:
It is the duty of new posters in the thread to skim the thread before posting and alert any previous posters to responses from others they may have missed.

Rule #3:
If and when a poster reaches the forum's character limit for their post, they must erase the whole thing and start over. Including the OP.

Quote from: GlyphGryph
Also, I think page 2 is forming some sort of alliance. Anyone want to be in an alliance with me? 0u0

I shall join your alliance. In order to protect ourselves, we must form a complicated and catastrophically redundant web of diplomatic ties.

I started reading it but got lost partway through, at some point after the Midnight Crew intermission. Will have to pick it up at some point.

Also, I think we should ally with page one against the PageTwosian menace. Surrender page two, we have you surrounded!

Welcome to the alliance, comrade.

If every poster in the forum ends up posting in this thread, it'll sink steadily as we edit-chat and don't bump it. That seems risky.

Rule #3:
If and when a poster reaches the forum's character limit for their post, they must erase the whole thing and start over. Including the OP.

I feel like that should be the only time we're allowed to make a new post. No use killing a perfectly good post that could be preserved.

It's all about making the next poor bastard to read this completely and utterly confused.

My personal goal is to keep my post as neat and ordered as possible while still retaining the causality-violating mess that it will become. Organized chaos, you could say.

I have no idea why I am doing this, but I guess I'll be in the lower boards quite a bit from now on and this seems... intresting.

We do things like this every once in a while.

Out of curiosity, who here has/does not read Homestuck? I feel alone in that regard.
I think a thread title like this will automatically appeal to the the average Homestuck fan.

Also, I think we should ally with page one against the PageTwosian menace. Surrender page two, we have you surrounded!

That just makes it better. It shall be as an artifact buried deep within the boards, and this shall add to its mystique and charm.

You could make me avatar of satanic black metal pocketwatch, or death metal one, or both... Make sure it soaks in blood of ponies...

- 12 May - 5:19PM-
10 people in this thread have yet to edit their posts. I am disappointed. The less people edit, the less chaotic this can be.
That is a deplorable statistic. We should pester them or something.

Well I sorta expected the thread to get a bit bigger
Oh you bet your buns it will! It's just a matter of hunting and pecking for stuff related to you, Like what I'm doing now!
(Also, hunting and pecking for lord English! Aye, his location is obvious now, but as he moves through the ever growing thread filled with ever growing posts, he's going to become a whole lot more illusive!)

#5
WHAT IN THE- LORD ENGLISH HAS ESCAPED MY POST! I thought I was being such an excellent host.

#4
What a conundrum this thread is. I shall have to rearrange my stopwatch collection to account for the odd chronology.
I'm not sure what a stopwatch will do, but at some point you may want to get a startwatch, just in case.

#3
EDIT: whoOoOoaAa4aAua.
Already here.

#2
Instead of trying to make people stay up to date with the whole thread I sorta pictured this devolving into conversations with your neighbors, that way you can just refresh your page and look around every so often.
Where's the fun in that? I want temporal shenanigans!

The MSPA forum has one on its general, but it was made by a mod and stickied by said mod, so...

Don't worry, I'll wait to post until it's fallen onto page 3.
Not sure what to say about that.
