But I do have a plot to it, although that'll start after the prologue finishes (in which you become planeswalkers!). The combat system is fairly complex when dealing with spells, but I think it'll be simple to execute.

If you have more colors, you can cast more spells, but your passive abilities (which are bonuses and stuff) get weaker, and if you have less colors, you cast less spells but have stronger passive abilities.)
Set: (Choose a set. Your character is from this set and gets a +1 to using spells and lands from the set. It also affects loyalty of creatures you summon- because you have to be able to control them if you summon them, right?)
Race: (What you are. Affects loyalty and abilities. Humanoid and relatively human-sized please. NO ELDRAZI OR STUFF)
Bio: (Affects abilities and loyalty, again. No planar shenanigans. No making yourself super-famous uber-guy.)

Bio: Atheraze would be a fairly common human youth if it was not for his conflicting passion for weapons and books. It would not be difficult to see the human, still in his childhood, creating simple wooden spears with iron tips and training with them. From that time, also came the fascination he had over books which pictured sorceries, myths, magical beasts and their powers. As he grew, the interest for both things also developed, and he was soon a teenager fascinated with martial and magical power, doing what it took to survive after losing his immediate family while trying to keep his passions fed. Even young, he still has a good amount of ability when dealing with dodging, using shields, spears, polearms and swords, taking part in many pit fights to obtain money. He also has a passion for the creatures he read about and is a combat pragmatist.
Due to his past, he is able to read (which is uncommon) and his morals are somewhat corroded from shaping himself to his environment.

Bio: Ira is a woman of about twenty to thirty years of age, a youth to her people, and protected by one of the many Angels residing in the land. If not for her passion for lore, information and knowledge, she would be facing knighthood, due to her training under one of the realm's more prominent knights.
Still, maybe knighthood was not her destined path, for in her youth she discovered (with some aid from an Angel) her prowess in other arts; pertaining to the area of intellect and ideology. She loves reading, and adventure, but her decisions mostly conflict with each other, if it weren't for her Celebrant guide.

Bio: Half sister of Ludevic, born from the escapades of his father, acknowledged by the father, but outcast by her own brother once the father found an early, unexplained demise. She swore vengeance to her brother, deciding to research possible applications of the werewolf blood in combination with scaab(zombie) bodies to build an army and march against him. One of her test subjects decided to wreck havock in her laboratory and before she could complete the spell to get rid of it created some nasty scars in her shoulder. From that day on she focused a little more on curing lycanthropy.
