Can you shoot another sniper through the magnifying lense mounted on their rifle, like that scene in Saving Private Ryan?

Yes. Yes you can. It is bloody fantastic. Infact, I managed to get the most obscenely awesome shot on a prone sniper in the demo. Just skimmed the scope, hit him in the face, travelled all the way down his spine and exploded his testicles out of his legs.

But it was pretty fun, though the bullet drop is a bit weird and it was quite easy even on highest difficulty. Atleast I think it was highest, I used custom settings. Might be wrong though on enemy ai.

If I understand correctly, bullet drop has been increased in the full version. Will be able to verify on Friday when I get my copy.

I've been bothering my friend Olga by intentionally aiming for the eyes. Heh. You get a feel for a good eye-shot after a while.

Protips:

In multiplayer, don't Q unless you really need to get out of harm's way and can't go prone for some reason.  Just crouch behind the wall and peek over it.  You're always slightly exposed but you can immediately react to enemies and you're never as exposed as you are when you emerge from cover.

Don't sit there looking through your scope because it'll glint.  Use binoculars and switch to the scope when you see somebody.

Hmm... Are there any mods/how to's out for this yet by chance? Specifically switching out the bullet/bullet trail. I just had an amusing idea based of a pic I saw while browsing.

So, I was watching some videos... The title of this one is slightly inaccurate.

A friend of mine rented this:
I ended up shooting a guy from the side and hit both of his balls.
Later, my friend took a pop shot at a guy and hit his grenade belt.
Glorious.

So the enemies suck at identifying the kill box (hard mode everything plus medium assist for the red dot thing). There were a good 15-20 guys running around back there, and they all (eventually) decided to run down the same half of the hallway. The left half is also open, and I would probably have been overrun if they didn't insist on lining up like schoolkids. Oh, and no, I didn't move any bodies for 'teh lulz'.

Yea,  I end up doing  that accidently all the time. Weird.
I kinda like shooting with rifle without scoping(ctrl). And yeah, ai rarely works smart against player with sniper rifle in any game.
