...move left a bit and see if it follows our creature, whom we have yet to name ( haven't checked the other forum for that ).

Howabout we help it grow somehow?

Discard one of our bulbs, offer that to the something.
That useless one behind us could easily be replaced.
Then grow a new bulb later.

Reviewing the picture when we first saw the Something, it's..."flower" was closed.  When we befriended it, ( or when the other forum did ) it, I dunno, leveled up.  There's this bright flower there, now.
