((Been off the computer for most of last week due to broken wrist and arm. Typing is a bit slow but I'm still here. Just waiting for something more directed towards my skill-set.))

Theo stepped forward from the back of the pack. "First we need to know whether it's going to be easy to leave this building or if there's anything here worth trying to acquire. The plan had been to try and gain control of the building's automation systems and then hack their mainframe to find out what's been going on since our last coherent memories. For example, the last thing I remember before waking up in jail was getting up for work. But I don't remember where I was working, or what kind of work that was.

He pauses a bit as the elevator starts moving.

"We are all employed by the Blaze corporation, or rather its subsidiary, Blaze Research and Development. The main guy here is technically the CEO, though he's also the founder and the "big boss" that controls practically everything - his name is Nowan Ilfideme.
However, strange things have been going on. Funds abruptly shifted from some projects to other ones. This happened when Mr. Ilfideme went on vacation, then suddenly canceled it. Some of us knew, however, that his helicopter never actually returned - those that went to management about it, and some of those connected, like you folks here, were taken to prison and got a short-memory brain wipe... it's good that those things actually worked like they were intended, and not better. There's obviously an imposter controlling Blaze now, and there are few who are willing to undermine him. And, better yet, get the real one out of whatever rear end he's in currently.
You probably worked in one of the sectors on the elevator."
