Nikolai tosses his metal bar around a bit, thinking.

Hey. Use that piece of paper to cover up the open toner, and attach it to a metal pole. Jab someone in the face with it and they'll be out a while, but we could lose the AoE...

Nikolai follows along with the majority of the group. He also swings his metal bar a bit to get the feel for it.

I suggest leaving the toner for later... it's less as a weapon than as a tool...
Also, Tiruin and Watchman are combat. So they should probably get the weapons.

In the very least, see how weak the metal bars are. If the ends are crush-able, make the end flat or twisted into a point for a more effective edge, and grab another because pliability equals weakness.

So you can kinda mash them into a point, these would be ok against people, not structures.
