I'm happy that the guy wasn't a dick about it. He was just bored and/or drunk and decided to make a stupid kickstarter, can't blame him for the immense response.

I am amazed and saddened that the That Which Sleeps kickstarter hasn't gotten a post in this thread.

You play a slowly awakening ancient evil, that tries to rise to power and take over/destroy the world. Sadly, my description doesn't really do it enough justice, so you can just hop on over to the bay12 thread on the game, which has tons and tons of info on it.

Heh, I guess I assumed that since I found out about it on these forums that it was sort of pointless to cross-post it, but that's obviously faulty reasoning.

Even if the concept of the game doesn't appeal to you, That Which Sleeps is certainly an example of 'Kickstarter done right' since the core gameplay is already finished, and the main goal of the fundraiser is just to produce more interesting art assets.

A Novella worth of description can't do that game justice. It's FUCKING WICKED SICK. (I think I'm channeling the last posted KS.)

So I just spotted this Mad-Max-meets-Fallout-meets-FTL-meets-Banner-Saga-meet-80's-pulp-scifi thingy.

On a quick glance it looks like a blast. Both conceptually AND visually.

3 days to go and it is over it's initial goal, but if anyone wishes to pledge, there's still time.

An amazing new idea for a phone. Takes mobile devices in a direction that drastically improves the platform. This one's worth keeping an eye on.
