Little Witch Academia 2  Holy toads.  I want to put money in this, not because I want a copy of it.  Its a first for anything non-game related.

Little Witch Academia 1  This is the original episode they launched, for those wondering why people are throwing money at it.

Song of the Summer King (Book 2)

Highly recommended.  I backed the first book and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The book is remarkably well written for someone who's getting published via Kickstarter* and I do not in any way regret throwing money at the first book, this book, or the third when it shows up.  The cover artist is also an artist whom I follow, which is how I found out about the project in the first place.

This book is only a week into its Kickstarter and it's already 68% funded, which goes to show just how many repeat backers she's got.

*Compared to another book I backed on Kickstarter, because dragons, which was really pretty bad.  Then there was the other book I picked up around the same time (through traditional publishing channels) was also frightfully bad.

Other Ways You Can Help

Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean you can’t help:

Send the campaign to someone you don't like.
Drink five glasses of water everyday. You're grumpy because you are dehydrated.
Nope. I think it fits here.

Am I missing the satire here?

I am pretty sure you are. Not 100% sure of course, because there are kickstarters that are nearly that bad out there but pretty sure.

It's a joke.
This is probably the best way to describe it. Even if it was meant 100% sincerely, it still would be a joke.

This looks interesting
One of the few kickstarters I've ever considered backing. I like it.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

The premise sounds fantastic, if the gameplay lives up to it I'd probably buy it.

It sounded neat up until the "send detectives to the accusation room and beat the murderers in turn based combat."

Combat?

Really?

Where's the mystery to this murder mystery sim?

It's sounding way too much like Dungeons for my tastes.  "Anything less that direct, confrontational murder makes you less of a person."
