And if anyone fancy their own thermal imager for maybe 1/6 the price of entry-level professional equipment, there's a project up there right now, and it does seem to make sense.

This one is tempting, so tempting. Unfortunately it'll probably end up in customs and cost me 40-50% extra.

Seeing as being aggravatingly obscure is only fun for a short while, and it's not really the sort of thing that needs to be hidden:
If you press up on your keyboard whilst at the top of the page, it brings you to a video browser, where you can flick through the videos of different projects using the left and right arrow keys, and press the down arrow key to go to that project page.

Here's one to throw a few bucks at.  I honestly think that a lot of the results are going to be fairly same-y, but the project isn't getting a whole lot of attention.

Also, Kickstarter is all "your CC isn't valid" at me.*  My bank has probably blocked them or someshit (they blocked Valve, can you believe that?)

Those cards are great. They're a little expensive, but they're almost stylish enough to justify it.

Yup, the UK branch of kickstarter has its own homebrew payment processing instead of passing it on to Amazon. Can't let filthy yankees touch the imperial Pound Sterling.
