Regular names (color based ones)

Name Leader: Carrin (GDCAG)
Race: Carnovans (GGGDGA)
Planet: Planius (GGGDGACD)

Description Race:
Carnivorous plant that developed symbiosis with ant-like creatures.
Plants (Carnovans): 2-3 meter high, Long roots that host the brain. High intelligence, adult plants have: Big mouth, big leaves (can live on photosyntheses only),  dozens of mobile eyes, can change color of the leaves (but only to different kinds of green, used for communication. ). pheromone producing glands (pheromones used both for communication and controlling Tekers) . Highly sensitive nose like organ. Naturally semi-democratic, since beginning of the civilization decisions was made by producing most powerful smells. Older and stronger have more powerful glands, thus their votes weight more, but there  were quite few "sapling revolutions"
Their marriage is consensual uniting of the roots in one system, basically sharing brains, it doesn't blend them in one personality completely, but minor personality blend and telepathic like abilities are unavoidable. Such families can range from 2 plants to thousands.
Reproduction: Pollination by small creatures. Nowadays it's often done artificially between family members, but natural way, with random parents is absolutely acceptable option. Seeds are airborne can travel with wind but almost always planted (or killed if kids are unwanted by female plant)
It takes 30 earth years from seed to adult plant. Average life duration 120-150 years

Ants (Teker): 20 cm long, ratlike intelligence, 8 legged insectoids. Hive creatures. At some point of evolution were enslaved by Carnovans that found the way to mimic and overpower hivemother's pheromones and turned them in loyal slaves and highly effective arms (and food source)

Description planet+ Solar system:
Old system with red star giant and few planets that not got burned by the star when it expanded
Home planet: while earth like, rotates very slowly, 70 earth days, so plants needed to adapt to survive long nights

Questions are good for bumping, right?

How many people does it take to operate the cloning center I'm researching now? I'd like to replace my traditional IC production with it.

Let's say 2. Let's also say the cloner has a max production rate 2/ turn. However keep in mind that cloning can go wrong and isn't always very popular.

Other:
The observational scan has showed that there are quite a few planet wielding stars around you. The observatorium is unable to get more detail though and there's also the question of how the get there. Possibly solved by the discovery of that the Pratkatchian engine blueprints are jumpdrives.

Domestic affairs:
Tanks are designed and build.
Send a message to the fleet that we will gladly help them make the repairs, but they have to land somewhere on the planet so we can help them.
They agree, however some of the ships remain in orbit. According to them these don't need repairs. They tell you full repairs would most likely cost 10 IC, and 5 metal. However they say they'll be able to patch up the ships for much less, only 4 IC and 2 metal. They also show you some of the goods they can trade and mention that they would like to buy some supplies too, if possible.
Spoiler: Goods (click to show/hide)
If you want to trade or fight them Pm me, so that this doesn't need to much turns to resolve.

Pm sent, and, did you convert a pop to the military? Cause I had 12 pop before, and if so, could I use that pop to work in buildings when they arenīt needed in the military.

And, my research should only have 1 turn left.

Um, sorry that was a Typo.

I don't see why, it was 3 turns the previous turn, and now it's 2.

Oh, so you counted with 12 people?

Well, I do have 2 pop in the lab, so it should research 2/turn?

Nope, the research countdowns are adjusted for the amount of people there are in the lab. If you'd take one of them of the research the remaining duration would double.

Construction
2 farms
2 labs
1 Cornovan Field

Worforce:
Farms: [4/4]
Mines: [1/1]
Factories [3/4]
Labs [4/4]

Research
Lab #1 - Compact factories (same as standard, but -1 to size)
Lab #2 - Teker cloning centers (cities that produce population suitable only for simple work: farming and mining. Our little stupid loyal slaves. Also this pops can be converted to food at any moment if things go badly. Note that slaves don't need any comfort, so this cities should be able to host more pops per size. )

Edit: Changed my mind, again

It's rather tempting to waste lab time researching a way to eat the parasites back.

Construction on Chryskav III:
7 IC available

Workforce:
12 pop available.
Farms: [3/4]
Mines: [2/3]
Factory: [2/4]
Laboratory: [4/4]
Fuel Distillery: [0/2]
Observatory: [1/1] (Planet V)

Research:
1 lab finishes researching cloning centers.
1 lab begins researching large-scale entertainment facilities.

Other:
Send in the planetary militia to purge all life from the infected area while trying to minimize damage to the facility.

Other:
fuel up the scout ship and send it to properly scan the larger of the two other rocky planets in the system.

By this I meant one of the local rocky planets. In this system. Can I have those results? Also, do I need 2 rare metal to put a Jumpdrive on a ship? Or is that just to complete the research?

Construction:
Superhive Upgrade

Workforce:
4 in farms
3 in mines
4 in industry
2 in the labs (Same Research)
2 in the distillery
1 in observatory (Keep an eye out for cosmic or alien events in our system)
2 extra kept busy with milatary drills down at the currently unused Spaceport

Exploration:
Scout Ship: Scan the other rocky planet in the system, fueling up if needed.

Other:
Start bombarding population with pro-Suspended animation propaganda.

Rolling that now
The 2 rare metals is the cost to put jumpdrives on ships.
