Waiting for Tersr to clarify his action.

I shall interpret “land” to mean “habitat”, as I shall be retiring to bed soon.

RESULTS

adwarf, your roll is a 2. I swear upon my tail that these results are random.
Your skin suddenly feels warm. The feeling passes.

Tersr, your roll is a 3.
The grass grows a few inches higher.

Nirur Torir, your roll is a 5.
A sustained gale whips through the night. You hear roaring wind.

Note the new rules about the waiting list in the OP.

Make the wind direction more chaotic and random, so it will randomly spawn tornadoes.

It seems that Tersr is no longer online, so I am going to be unconscious for my usual eight hours.

I can handle more players, so I am expanding the player count to five. Players can post their actions while I am gone.

The map has been axed, as detailed geography does not seem to be important.

Cause the land to collapse in on itself, making a gigantic chasm.

RESULTS

adwarf, your roll is a 3.
A pillar of flame leaps up before you and bends before the wind. A low moan issues from the flames, but, otherwise, it remains inanimate. The grass catches fire.

Tersr, your roll is a 2.
Your fingers glow for a few seconds.

Nirur Torir, your roll is a 3.
The winds swirl and dance erratically. The sound of roaring wind in the distance doubles in volume.

Skyrunner, your roll is 4.
There is light, and you see that it is good. It streams down through the water above the atmosphere, giving all a blue hue. The light dances with the shifting water.

Suddenly, you spot a pair of whirling vortices! The tornadoes do not seem to be moving closer.

Sinpwn, your roll is a 2.
The ground rumbles. Nothing else happens.

I am expanding the limit to 10 players. All those of you on the waiting list have entered the game. I do not like changing the rules on you this much, but I must confess that this is my first time administrating a game. “Proving Grounds” in the title is referring to me, not to you.
