You attempt to stealthily approach the humans. This is difficult, as you are standing in an open field with flora no taller than shin height. Thankfully, there are several trees between you and them, and they are more preoccupied with the tree you uprooted several minutes ago. You reach the edge of the grove. The three humans are approximately ten feet away from you; they are, as you suspected, human children. Approximate estimates of age are: 13 (tallest, female); 9 (middle, male); 7 (middle, male). The youngest has the binoculars out and is peering through them towards the west; the female child is gesturing to the uprooted tree and toward the west while speaking with the others in what sounds like High Common, though the exact words are unclear. You can more closely observe her weapon; it appears to be a light flechette pistol, good for soft targets, but incapable of penetrating beyond your biological layer.
You have an unexplained violent urge, but ignore it. You suspect that exterminating human children is not Mission Parameter 1b.
You call out in Spanish, "Identificar vosotros mismos." You briefly wonder if it would have been better to use the "Latin American plural 'you'" as opposed to the "Spanish plural 'you'", before realizing that it is unlikely that the children will understand pure Spanish, as words descended from it only compose approximately 28% of High Common.
((Note: from this point on, all language will be rendered in English for all of our sakes. This can be assumed to be High Common unless otherwise stated.))
The children turn rapidly to face you. The eldest draws her weapon, gesturing at the others. The youngest bolts off across the field, heading north. The other two stand and confront you. The older of the two responds, "Who the hell are you?"
What do you do?
((As an aside, I'm going to copy as much relevant information to the OP as I can, and update it when you get new information.))
