A fist > An axe in the hands of a legendary axeman
« on: April 28, 2012, 09:35:33 am »

An unconcious enemy with nothing but a hood on his head. Being the legendary axeman I am, I repeatedly slam my greataxe into his head. Me hacking at his head actually went on for about 10~ pages before I decided to give him a punch to the face. When I saw it kill him, I lost it. :P A great axe has nothing on fists!

That's funny because I was an adequate axeman and I sliced an elf's head clean off of his shoulders in one strike with a copper axe.

The axe loosened the skull. The fists were the anvil hitting the even bigger anvil.

I doubt he'd have incapacitated a Maceman that well then.

The axe loosened the skull. The fists were the anvil hitting the even bigger anvil.

Or the wool became stuck on the axe, softening all hits. Don't forget the importance of regular weapon maintenance, kids.

Or maybe he decided to let him live, but unknown forces made him keep hacking, and so he fought it to it would not kill>

Yeah, it's a shame that it's so hard to find one with good quality modifiers.
