Hey, ME3 actually did a good job with the shuttle pilot. And they actually had humorous dialogue about both sexualities. I remember some good ones walking by the asari and human female couple who were having an affair while the human's husband was at war. I actually liked ME3 until the end, I felt like they actually repaired SOME of the damage of the second game.
Arcade Gannon was an awesome character. I'm really amazed that Bethesda was capable of that.
Let's not talk about Dragon Age 2. I was so excited to get started on the game after I beat the first chapter. I figured I'd get away from all the copy/pasted dungeons and maybe find another big city. Then they just reused everything. I never got to the third chapter, if there even was one.
Anyhow, back on topic. The games may advance relationships fairly quickly, but let's face it, we all aren't going to sit through multiple movies with our love interest, slowly working our way up to a sexual relationship. They just put it on fast forward, much like most movies do. I don't see what all these people are complaining about though. Sure you get come onto pretty quick, but that's exactly what can happen in real life, and it happens with the women too. There's no double standard. They simply put the relationships on fast forward and let you pick what kind you wanted. You could always turn them down if you weren't interested.
Ninja: You could romance the shuttle pilot. There was a purely gay option for both sexes. He was for men, and Specialist Traynor was for the ladies. Such a shame too, though it's not like I haven't hit on a lesbian before without realizing it. Awkward.
