Armorsmith Mood and the Iridium Waffer
« on: April 25, 2012, 09:35:21 pm »

>> Im using the Masterwork mod <<

Oh god...oh god he got an Iridium waffer a basalt block and a rough gem and he wants a cut gem.

Im gratefull that I took too long to make the jewelry industry so I can ask this here.
Its paused.
Can I forbid the basalt block so he picks a Raw Mithrill Block that I have?
Can I forbid the fossil(Its a rough gem) he got(Unsetling fossil...shouldnt be valuabe) so he pick the only one that Im going to cut?
If I move the block from the shop(Dumping it) is he going insane?
Thanks for the answers before hand...if you answer hehe.

Hope it isnt a SINGLE Low boot.
Please let it be a Crown(Its equipable,also...its a Crown usefull?)/Helm/Breastplate.  :'(

Edit:I think he wants more Iridium...bad luck. I think Im going to lose a armorsmith to insanity  :-\

Crowns provide no protection in combat but can be equipped in adventure mode(not sure about fortress mode but I don't think so) so start hoping for a shield.

Using masterworks too, I got an iridium living armor! :D

I think the living armor is flavour text for breastplate though.

I think they will use any metal available.

Edit-living armor protects more body areas and you can wear more items under it but it is heavier.  Also it can be made from bone or shell.

yes you can forbid any item.

Forbidding the building components results in insanity.

Best used with select Mood burrows.

i noticed forbiding the first thing they grab results in insanity, anything after that is fair game; note that i forbid the materials after the dwarf starts his artifact, the dwarf will not use those materials in his/her artifact OR grab replacements, and won't go insane unless you forbid the initial material (a nice tip if you wanna keep moody dwarves from using valuble materials)

Ohh nice to know that...but maybe its a little exploity

ALSO: My Legendary Hammerdwarf who was using the Artifact High-boot DIED of INFECTION.
He was wearing the boot at the right foot...the left one was cut off(No armor whatsoever)and he died.

Is there a way(or planned feature) to make PAIRS of Artifact boots/gloves? That kinda anoys me

Seconded. Mass jewelry is a legitimate form of defense.
