To this day the elven warrior castes hunt the enemies of nature for the purpouse of bringing back slain intelligent beings for consumption by their leaders and generals, for the good of nature and the survival of elvenkind.

And that is the story of how napalm was invented.

I've verified that you can make magma kill them if you mod all organic materials to have melting points below the temperature of magma. Organic materials currently have NONE for a melting point, as they are supposed to burn away.

Can fire spread from one creature to another?

And do the body parts remain burning even after you slay the zombie?

1. Yes
2. Sort of... if they're wearing clothing, sure.  If just a Zombie part, um, needs more !!Science!!, but I don't think so, since body parts don't burn without modding.  See: Fire Immune Dwarves via Dwarven Steam Baths

Aside, will hair/wool burn just like clothing?

Somehow this reminds me of when one of my dwarfs burned to death.  The description on his corpse read "This is the body of Urist McBurned.  The object looks heavily worn."

If you kill them while they are in magma their bodies burn and they do not resurrect.

On the note of burning undead, I played around in adventure mode and found out that if they burn, they'll eventually pop, spurting blood everywhere like a small child in a blender.
