A siege force of goblins running through my ~40 traps deep entrance, triggering and jamming one meatgrinder after another, until only a single one reaches the other side to be pummeled to death by a woodcutter.

I'm really happy when I finally embark on a slade quarry, even if I have to embark on every tile of a 16x16 tile. In 4x4 embarks, of course...

Well if COD players all have ADHD, and Minecrafters autism, then what do DF players all have?

From a little book I received for my birthday called "The Tough Guide to Fantasy Land" there is an excerpt which refers to Wizards, I believe that it fits for DF Players too...

"Run far and fast when a DF Player Frowns. If he smiles, Run harder. Above all, refrain from laughing when he laughs. But if he weeps, you may join in courteously..."

Lots of dead.  Dead goblins and kobolds that is.  If they manage to so much as scratch a single (useful) dorf, I get...vindictive.

Often I like to scoop them up in cages, strip them of their weapons, dump them in a 5 level deep hole so they break several limbs on impact, and let them act as live training dummies for my military.

DF would make me smile if all my plans went in motion, successfully finishing their task, with my fort eventually being flooded in obsidian with demons spewing out of every tree on the map.

I would love to see someone actually pulling that off. :P

Well I just downloaded the new DFhack (well, it's new to me), and set my fortress to arena mode.

Only the strongest will survive.
