Our Twitch stream sadly didn't record. It's sad because from an objective viewpoint it was awesome. I have been involved with a lot of streams but this one was entertaining and funny, which is not that common. Luckily, they are considering doing an all day stream soon. Possibly very soon. We are pretty happy so far. We have more than 10% of our funding in just over 2 days and we haven't even had our major press or partnerships yet. It would be of great help if you guys could let other people know about the game and or it's kickstarter. This is how I make the money that allows me to give away so many games here. In fact, those of you who do interesting things to promote the game can count on getting showered with gifts.

Noooooo, I can't believe it didn't record!!! :'( It was what I was gonna do this weekend to relax!

Make sure to talk to the fine fellows at Rock, Paper, Shotgun. They get quite a few hits, especially from Europe, I think. They do some nice, out-of-the-box covering of games and avoid giving actual scores so they can't be metacriticised. Games aren't scores, so you can either read about it and see an honest opinion, or go away!

We will be having a long live stream tomorrow on Twitch.TV featuring a bunch of "top secret" stuff(according to our CEO). Also, they will be live testing a feature suggested by a fan in the last stream. These guys really do listen to anyone with good ideas and if you want to help develop a game, this is one of your best opportunities.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Ok, seriously, this needs more love than it's getting.

These guys have the entire game already pretty much working, its a completely new idea for an MMO without subscription, they've worked on it for forever, Hemmingjay and Jocan are or have been a part of it, the game looks kickass, nobody's done it before, they're implementing suggestions made by the fans all the time, they're doing lots of updates, lots of livestreaming and fan interaction...

Seriously, FUND IT!

Guys, we could really use your help funding this Kickstarter! Once we hit our goal we will get more press and money will come rushing in(as it always does). Right now, we are having a hard time getting the media's attention due to console releases and holiday sales. Here's just a couple of reasons to back it:

It's an MMORTS set in Space
It has the coolest research system in any game (Anti-Tech Tree, every player creates unique inventions).
It's halfway between Eve Online and Starcraft II.
It's already playable(hundreds of private testers).
The game is so polished and innovative that Steam accepted it immediately, bypassing Greenlight like it was a major studio release.
Two Bay12 members are working on it(Jocan2003 an myself, Hemmingjay)!
Zero chance of vaporware. The game is feature complete and just needs 4-6 months of extra content, tiny balance tweaks and further optimization. It already runs well on a wide variety of equipment, but the end goal is to have it run on toasters.

We really NEED your help and support guys. Once again, the money doesn't come out of your account until the end of the campaign which is in 17 days. You can back it now even if you don't get paid for some time.

Due to the rules on the Kickstarter page I can hold a contest now, but if it is successful, I will run a contest here that shadows my previous contests. Imagine a MASSIVE GIVEAWAY, for just our friends here.

Like I said before, I can't really understand how this is not being jumped on by everyone, from media to backers.

People go crazy with lots of Kickstarter projects with teams that haven't gotten any experience or finished products under their belt, and here is an almost finished product with amazing ideas and nobody's really picking it up.

I would suggest explaining what premium is on the front page and not just under the first update. I suspect even a sniff of "premium" accounts might turn off a lot of people, like it initially did me.... I was shocked and completely surprised when I learned that the game was not subscription based, and that premium didn't give actual advantages. This should be much more prominent in the main page than it is right now.

I wasn't going to back this cos I've already got a few too many things backed and the time it takes from backing to final product is so long with games that I've been getting kinda fatigued and jaded with it all.  But then I saw this one is only 6 months away instead of 2-3 years (albeit, keeping hype and release dates in the game development world in mind), so I caved and backed it anyway :p

Thanks so much Biowraith! Actually, you will be playing this game in a matter of weeks, so don't worry about "Dev time".
