New fave weapon, I now kill the first bandit with sand/pebbles and then throw him from point blank range at his friends. It works every time.

I don't know why, but I love halberds. They're just so... Useful.

Also, I've noticed that halberds use the Hammer skill.

Usually start by throwing snow/clay/rocks/vomit, then (throwing) two iron great axes I found and after that the corpses of the fallen. I was lugging around a dead vampire and a rattlesnake nose for a while.

Managed to get a few kills by throwing snow.

I like to travel to the blasted wastelands surrounding my expired fortresses, then find a masterwork Large Steel Serrated Disk. A few versions ago I used Enormous Steel Corkscrews.

I killed an entire bandit camp by throwing knives. I don't know why it makes me happy when the knives tear apart the heart and stick in the wound, resulting in instant unavoidable death a few turns later. I don't know why, but I'm worried.

Instant when it comes, that is. They immediately die as soon as it rolls around.

Halberd in dominant hand. Kitchen knife in off hand. I usually do most of the damage with the halberd and then go for the kill with the knife, so that my legends screen says "struck down xyz with a bronze boning knife" etc.

 I've started collecting knives for throwing, too.

I normally wrestle a guy, break a ton of bones, then smoothy-fie their brains with a fork I got off a cook.

I use anything. I prefer weapons. Then I use ammo in melee combat. Then I use my enemy's armor. Then I use MY armor.
Then I use my enemy's facial features to pulverize my other enemies.

I usually strap a large amount of shortswords and knives to myself and strut about with them, looking for some sorry soul to pelt with them.

I collect megabeast eggs and throw them at people, or use them as melee weapons. Once I knocked a dragon's skull inwards using its unhatched offspring

I use a iron scimitar and a copper short sword. I ditched the shield in favor of dual weapons. Surprisingly effective.
