More progress!

Robocorn, how much longer will the song need to be? It's sitting at 1:18 right now.

EDIT: Fixed a sour note. How did that get in there?

That's really cool.
Honestly, Animation is hard and with proper timing I'll probably be able to get by using the entirety of the composition.
The ending part is way brighter than I'd have thought but it's starting to grow on me.

Would it be possible to make the ending bigger, not through rewriting but just a larger sounding sound. I tried layering it in audacity to
some effect but I think it would probably be best if someone who knows how music works did it. :P

I slept most of today so it may be a week or ore until the actual flash is done, you could probably get away with taking your time.

You need a fuller sound? I can do that for you. I was trying to make the ending kind of fade out, but I can do a climactic ending.

Like so. I slowed down the beginning part, because it felt too rushed.

Larger sound, eh? I decided to go with a nordic choir type song, but the Finale synthesized vocals just plain suck. So I made some 'voices' out of two basses, a cello, and a viola part.

Enjoy. (I hope.)

What key is that in? Also, using square waves for voices works well.

To be honest, I have no idea. Nominally, they're all in C. However, I didn't stick to the key at all. (I'm terrible with key signatures. I can use them when reading music, but I never remember what note to start on, and I couldn't figure out which notes are flat and sharp in each scale from memory to save my life.)

Share the score, then? I'd love to take a crack at figuring out what exactly you did.

Alright, you'll have to give me until tomorrow, though. I'm on my desktop now, my brother borrowed my laptop for a bus ride.

I like what you've done.
Sorry to be so late in responding.

Since I've been into procrastinating on my flash for dumber projects and I'm really interested in your musical creative process
can I propose a thought experiment. How climactic could you make it before it doubled over into cheesy bombast?
I've got pretty close to all the time in the world to wait and I'm pretty excited to see the compositions the two of you make.

Larger sound, eh? I decided to go with a nordic choir type song, but the Finale synthesized vocals just plain suck. So I made some 'voices' out of two basses, a cello, and a viola part.

That's a pretty cool effect for something you said you kludged together out of a bunch of other voices.
It's got kind of an atmospheric feel to it.

Climactic in the first or second section?

Sorry about that last sheet music disappearing, I can't seem to find it anywhere. However, I would invite you all to come take a look at The Bay12 Symphony. It'll be a riot.
