I'm not sure why you bother to armor him.

Arrows and bolts of the goblinite variety falling from the sky...

I don't think these two mechanics have been stated here yet, and they influence the design:

- Magma does not currently kill zombies.
- Pitted zombies who were caged do not fight pitted Goblins who were caged.  I tested this in my current fort.  The DID fight prior to the cage/pit.

I don't understand, though that is about right with anything DF related.
I just hope he dies the same death that all dwarfs deserve: liver disease.

Not a room, I can't remember who, but someone gave me the idea to dig a pit, built a dome around it (complete with ornate chambers, brass thrones pending) and drop my stockpile of moose corpses down. The zombie horde inside has since grown to include every pet, Kobold and corpse I can't be asked to look at.
