You may take Nightsticks, but there is only so many times you can turn undead before you run out, and there are more to come kill you.

No, I think he's planning to use Nightsticks to power divine metamagic!

Or maybe not. >.>

Both are valid uses, but I feel turning will be significantly more important in this campaign.

I wonder if a succubus cleric is valid.

Of course it is, Clerics can be of any alignment depending on their deity; not to mention Succubus Paladins have been created in the past. It isn't even remotely effective a build though.

Are you really asking me that? The foremost principle when optimizing a spellcaster is: thou shall not sacrifice Caster Levels.

Sorcerer? Bard? Beguiler?

Any CHA-based class, really.

I asked What do you recommend for a Charisma loaded succubus?, not How do you optimize a spellcaster?

:|

Sure, of course I could go with a Dragonwrought Kobold or some Arcane Thesis maxed out Ill...something, but I don't exactly play D&D for the powergaming. <.<

Do you think a bard or a sorcerer will be better in this game? xD

I ought to get some sleep in, I somehow read it as "What, for for a succubus like me who has loads of Charisma?". At any rate, if you want to go through with a succubus in this Campaign, I'd rather go with the sorcerer than the bard... Except you wish to try and manipulate the other PCs, a situation a bard is better suited for. Also, weird a build as it may be, a Succubus Paladin has incredible saves.

Alternative: take succubus as a racial class and spend a feat to get practiced spellcaster; that considerably offsets the CL loss for a succubus spellcaster.

Character Sheet: Eric Sunspear

Eric's first instinct is to reach for his Greathammer, finding it slung across his shoulders where it belongs is reassuring and he grasps the handle while he surveys the room. Seeing a woman wielding a rapier and violin and a Cleric of Pelor, judging by his vestments and symbol,  as well as a few others he relaxes and waits for the inevitable 'something' to happen.

Yes, you did, and I noticed. But you might say that even if you did wish to manipulate the PCs. I am simply trying to be open-minded about it... Although, truth be told, that may well be the single most interesting way of playing a succubus, assuming the party wizard isn't a diviner.

By the way, how were you brought into the arena's plane? Were you summoned or called?

By the way, how were you brought into the arena's plane? Were you summoned or called?

In the middle of a interplanar transport? Still, I'm not Extraplanar because I have the Naturalized Denizen feat. If that counts for anything.

Also, I believe that for all purposes this arena (i) counts as the Material Plane (ii) doesn't need to follow the rules, because a god did it.

Why do you ask, though? xD
