I like how Fox is portrayed as a traumatized veteran, it makes absolute sense.

I really like the double-path segment idea from Luigi Circuit, so I took it upon myself to re-draw and recreate Yoshi Falls from Mario Kart DS with that concept in mind.

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MONK12! I hope this suffices as a present.

Fox grits his teeth and clenches his hands in a white-knuckle grip about the wheel.
His eyes flicked over at his pursuers and then back to the track. He mumbled to himself, fingers twitching as the memories of an Arwing's control panel flashed through his mind, twitching for buttons that his kart sadly lacked.
His combat training was kicking in, though, they were on his tail and it was time to take evasive action.

Luigi Circuit- Turn Three
1st      2nd      3rd      4th      5th     6th
Player Action

Power slide to pull ahead!  Go inside.

Crank cuts inside, charging his engines for a Power Slide! [5]+1 His slide is perfectly executed, giving him ONE Momentum, +1 on Pass attempts and the opportunity to immediately pull ahead! [3] Unfortunately, he isn't quite able to separate himself from the pack!

((Potential Confusion: Pulling Ahead is a Racing Check, not a Pass Attempt, so the successful Power Slide doesn't give a bonus. It does give a bonus for anyone attempting to pass him after this.))

>Drive Defensively!

"check G-diffusors... bogey on your six... aces high... Evasive Action"

Fox McCloud cuts inside, Driving Defensively to hold position. He gains +1 against being passed and +1 against attacks and hazards!

Power slide through the outer edge of the curve, hitting the dash panels!

"OOOOAAAHHH! You're mine, McCloud!"

King Harkinian slides to the outer portion of the track, Power Sliding to build speed! [3]+1 He vaults forward, gaining +1 on Pass Attempts and skidding towards the Dash Panels!

Take the inside! Use the Fake Item Box!

Link cuts inside King Harkinian, driving toward the Item Boxes! He drops his Fake Item Box onto the course!

Power through the inside.

Kirby swerves to avoid the Fake Item Box dropped by Link, [2]-1 but crashes straight into it, flipping and losing THREE Momentum!

Undeterred, Kirby goes into a Power Slide on the inner portion of the track, [2]+1 but can't get his engines to spark! His adorable little fists slam impotently on his dashboard!

Hm, I don't think risking the item box is worth it under the circumstances.

Head outside and hit the dash panels, then drive aggressively to speed ahead.

Cue crit fail on dodging the chain chomp and falling back.

Luigi starts Driving Aggressively towards the Dash Panels, [5] gaining TWO Momentum and rapidly closing on the hapless Kirby!

1st      2nd      3rd      4th      5th     6th
Movement Phase

Crank comes up on the Chain Chomp, [1]+2 and cuts it too close! The Chain Chomp lunges forward, flipping Crank and causing him to lose TWO Momentum! Crank soldiers on, sliding to the inside and it's array of Item Boxes!

Fox McCloud approaches the Chain Chomp, [2]+2+1 and cautiously avoids the hazard! He keeps an eye behind him, however, as King Harkinian gets ready to make a move!

King Harkinian [4]+2 easily avoids the Chain Chomp, and hits the Dash Panels, gaining ONE Momentum! He parlays the speed boost into an attempt to pass the wily Fox McCloud! [6]+5+1vs[2]+4+1 Fox's veteran instincts interpret Harkinians approach vector as an incoming missile, and reflexively attempts a Barrel Roll- unfortunately, on a race course that maneuver results in losing your place. Harkinian breezes past, taking Second place and losing ONE Momentum! He still has enough Momentum left over to make a move on Crank as he recovers from the Chain Chomp! [3]+4+1vs[1]+3+1 King Harkinian's demented driving pulls him through, claiming First Place and losing ONE Momentum!

Link [2]+2 dodges the Chain Chomp and rumbles along, just behind Fox McCloud!

Kirby [6]+2 isn't anywhere near the Chain Chomp, desperately flogging his vehicle for speed in 5th place!

Luigi [5]+2 breezes past the Chain Chomp and hits the Dash Panels for ONE Momentum! He comes in fast behind Kirby, going for the pass! [6]+5vs[5]+2 Kirby drives admirably, can't overcome his run-in with the Fake Item Box- Luigi passes him for 5th and loses ONE Momentum!

Cleanup Phase

Crank's slide brings him to the Item Boxes, [3]+1 and he just manages to catch the corner of one! [2]+1 Crank receives a Green Shell!

Fox curves toward the Item Boxes [4]+1 and hits, [3]+2 gaining a Bob-omb!

Link makes straight for the Item Boxes, [2]+1 but Fox takes the one he was aiming for! Link mutters something that would make a fairy blush.

Kirby trundles towards the Item Boxes [6]+1 and nails them, [6]+5 picking up a valuable Star!
