Now was the time, Bill made his move. He launched his shell, and power slid through the inner curve. Aiming for the dash panel, he attempted to take the lead!

Feeling an inky rain in his future, Oomph slammed the pedal again and turned toward the speed panels. Full speed ahead-it was time to break away!

"Try and follow Oomph, Falcon-man!" He taunted.

Action: Aggressive Driving on the Inner Path, widen my lead. Hit those dashers, clear off that Ink, bro!

Poor Counselor Grimtoad. Are you still taking suggestions for his actions? If so, attempt to hit the item boxes again, but DO NOT DRIVE AGGRESSIVELY.

Captain Falcon would like to suggest that the GM make the blooper a rarer item. This bonanza of sea food is an assault to probability and to the apatite. Despite that, he was not going to let the koopa's challenge go unmet. He guns the engine and follows through.

Yoshi Falls- Turn Five

1st      2nd      3rd      4th      5th     6th
Action Phase

Action: Aggressive Driving on the Inner Path, widen my lead. Hit those dashers, clear off that Ink, bro!

"Try and follow Oomph, Falcon-man!"

Oomph swings to the inner path, accelerating rapidly, [1]-1 but the engine chokes! [5] Oomphs Kart Hiccups, and his breakaway suffers a serious blow when the Kart begins to Rubber Band Back, taking a -1 Penalty to Pulling Ahead!

Inside Lane, Drive Aggressively

Nobody turns their back on Captain Falcon! [4] He surges ahead with ONE Momentum as Oomph experiences his breakdown, although he takes a -1 Penalty to Hazard Checks!

Now was the time, Bill made his move. He launched his shell, and power slid through the inner curve. Aiming for the dash panel, he attempted to take the lead!

Seeing Oomph sputter, Bill pulls the trigger as Captain Falcon crosses in front of his sights! [5]+3vs[6] Captain Falcon's clever maneuvering grants him ONE Momentum as he pulls away from his pursuer, but it goes for naught against the Red Shell as it slams into his rear, sending him flipping and losing TWO Momentum! He tumbles down the steep bank of the inner path, [3]+2 but he avoids falling off the cliff to his doom!

As the Falcon tumbles, Bill goes into a Powerslide, [5]-1+1 and easily sparks a boost for +1 on Pass Attempts! Unfortunately, Captain Falcon's impressive driving has put him just too far ahead for a Pass!

Powerslide on the inner path. Use blooper

Mario releases his Blooper, imposing a further -1 Penalty to the other drivers! He goes into a Powerslide, [2]-1+1 but can't execute!

Use the Blooper and Powerslide on the inside of the track

WAHAHA!!! Go my glorious pet! He declared throwing it into the air, then swung his cart around, Now, strike their windshields with ink LIKE LIGHTNING!!!

The Mysterious Mr. L releases his Blooper, imposing yet another -1 Penalty to the other drivers as their windshields are thoroughly inked! He swings into a Powerslide, [6]-1+1 and kicks forward with Momentum! He gains ONE Momentum and a +1 bonus to Pass Checks!

Poor Counselor Grimtoad. Are you still taking suggestions for his actions? If so, attempt to hit the item boxes again, but DO NOT DRIVE AGGRESSIVELY.

Grimtoad tries again for the Item Boxes, hoping they will get him back in this race! He drives defensively to increase his odds of hitting!

1st      2nd      3rd      4th      5th     6th
Movement Phase

Oomph hits the Dash Panel on the inside of the curve, gaining ONE Momentum and clearing himself of the cloying Ink! He strives to Pull Ahead, [3]-1 but his sputtering engine isn't up to the task!

Captain Falcon hits the Dash Panel on the inner path, gaining ONE Momentum and removing the Ink! Unfortunately, Oomph remains too far ahead to pass!

Bill Ryzer hits the Dash Panel on the inside of the curve, gaining ONE Momentum and freeing himself of Ink! He doesn't have an angle on the wily Captain Falcon, though he's right on his tail!

Mario hits the Dash Panel on the inside of the curve, gaining ONE Momentum and ridding his windshield of the Ink! He's got some doing to catch up with the leaders, though!

The Mysterious Mr. L hits the Dash Panel on the inside of the curve, gaining ONE Momentum and expunging the Ink! Mario is just ahead!

Counsleor Grimtoad is beset by waves of Bloopers! He hits the water at BLUE, [2]+2+1-1 and his conservative line proves the difference, allowing him to make it through!

Cleanup Phase

Oomph slows to his cruising speed of FIVE Momentum!

Bill's Spread-Shot slows to its cruising speed of FOUR Momentum!

Counselor Grimtoad plows toward the Item Boxes in BLUE, [4]+3-1 and easily takes one, [1]+5+1 receiving a Mushroom that will prove invaluable in catching up, especially coming into RED!

Captain Falcon would like to suggest that the GM make the blooper a rarer item. This bonanza of sea food is an assault to probability and to the apatite.

At this time, I don't think there is a statistical likelihood of getting the Blooper, although its position means it is available to basically everyone getting an item. That said, now that there are 2 consecutive races with Blooper-related Kart Hiccups, the League Safety and Regulatory Committee might remove the item from the lists. We'll see what happens after this race.

I'm also sleepy while typing this, so hopefully there aren't any glaring errors.

And yes, we're taking suggestions for Grimtoad's Actions until he gets back. Although given his item, his best course REALLY is for Mushroom + Take Inside Shortcut.

((Oh my, this is getting exciting for Bill))
"Don't like shells, Blue Boy?" Bill said, as he gripped the wheel with his knuckles white. His previous plan at taking first failed, Bill drafts the Blue Falcon, looking for a way in.

Shy Guy leaned forward, intrigued by the racers, especially the one in first place.

Shy Guy wondered if it would keep up at this pace, or whether any dirty tricks would be thrown.

Shy Guy smiled.

With power now in his engine, Captain Falcon was catching up to Oomph and ready to take first place! While Bill was right on his tail, the F-Zero racer's experience won out in denying the soldier. Until the shell slammed into the back of his cart, sending him veering towards the edge. Not about to embarrass himself in his first race, he pulls out of the death spin and back into place.

"It takes more than one hit to take out Captain Falcon, soldier boy" He taunted back, keeping the marine back

I could ram that overweight Italian off the cliff, but I have better plans...

Drive Aggressively along the outer path and aim for those Item Boxes!

I'm not entirely sure bloopers and other items work. Apparently they don't seem to stack, and only target the people behind me.

Anyway aggresive driving, go for the item boxes.

Oomph banged the dash of his Kart a few times, turning a bright shade of red.

That wasn't working! Stupid broken Kart...

Action: Aggressive Driving, outside-go for an item box, after deploying my fake item box in sneaky, underhanded fashion!

The bloopers don't stack because your windshield can only get so inky, and the reason the people ahead of you didn't get messed with is because their Action resolved before yours, and they hit a Dash Panel in the Movement Phase to keep from being inked for that phase and the next turn. This is also why you and Phantom aren't inked, but Grimtoad is (he had no Dash Panel to hit.)

Counselor Grimtoad drafts on the inside segment, and takes the shortcut under the bridge while using his mushroom, attempting to catch up.

Note that Taking a Shortcut is an action of its own, and Grimtoad doesn't have anyone to draft behind anyway. He should have a pretty good chance to Pull Ahead, though.

Anywho, turn up in ~10 hours! (when I get out of work)
