I think this ended up being the most I've payed for a game in a looooong time, but I know you guys will come up with something worth the money ;)

Welp the Servey came through, who do I say refered me, personally I would love to have at least 4-5 people say I did for them just to bump me up to that 90-100 slot. :P
4 gives me a spare copy and the 5 would get me a Soundtrack CD and me as a Crewmember. :P

Wow, I never expected this to pull through! I'm amazed at what happened. I got the survey- should I name my module "Urist Array"? "Dwarf Handling Unit"?

Personally I would love to see voice activation for weaponsystems and other systems in the craft. It would be wonderful...

Anyone checked out the latest version yet? I just got a steam key from humble bundle.

Now maybe I'll actually figure out how to make something in the shipyard...

I think it's just the change in the module-snap feature (attach one point to anywhere, rather than to another point) coupled with the lack of a symmetry option (yet) and new camera controls, but I'm actually finding it far harder to build stuff than the last release of the shipyard stand-alone. This is frustrating, as it looks like the rest of the game-so-far has been substantially improved. Hopefully these things will be fixed up soon.

I couldn't get past the generating universe step. I thought it was just a stand-in... is there actual piloting and trading already?

Wow, everything here looks pretty sweet and sounds fun as hell. How have I missed this?

Can someone give me a very brief rundown on what's currently in the alpha release? I want to know if I can justify breaking my "don't buy before the game is done" rule, just this once...

Anyone have any idea how to do anything in the game? right now it seems like when you create a universe, it puts you in the shipyard, you design a ship, it gets discarded and the game gives you a premade ship, and then you sit in space with nearly no controls. I think the only way to move is to hold space, which accelerates you north on the planetary plane and doesn't appear to do anything else.
