We can throw you into the deep infirmary right now if you want. They haven't gone more then a room in, so we can just handwave the turns it would take for them to turn around, grab you and come back.

((You get five to start with.  If that's insufficient, there's also the team fund which might give you something for your first mission, or you can beg rich people to give you something, or maybe you could join the union in hopes they'll support you... lots of options.  There's wiki jobs too, if you're good with paperwork.))
