Requisition 1 megaton nuke in case we have to resort to blowing it up.

"Let's lower that to a 10 kiloton instead. Megaton nukes are expensive and such."

Request a jump pack.
"Sorry, but no. There's quite a lot of you, and if I give one a jump pack everyone will want one. That's about 13 people. Though you can still buy one yourself, it's not like you should need a lot of weapons on this one."

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Vanessa interjects. "Should we find ourselves without equipment I'm capable of performing most any operation, no equipment needed. Of course it would be prudent to equip others with the ability to assist as well."

"Hey, union people" Christopher yells walking into the rec room, "I'll be buying and testing our first CSU nyartifact in a sec, so come to the union room to help with that! Also, would anyone be interested in printing a union-run ship gazette or magazine?"

"Yes, you have been added to the mission roster. Try not to die if you can, coffins aren't free you know."
Miyamoto wondered for a second if not seeing his body language would make it hard to signal that something was meant as a joke to people who didn't know him, but the thought was quickly lost in the midst of other considerations like 'I have to check the pollen progress report' and 'maybe I should go inspect the training facilities once we get to Hep' and other such thoughts.

I would like to spend my 5 tokens on the following items in the player market

MK II suit (listed at 2 tokens)
Defender Longcoat (listed at 2 tokens)
Blaster Pistol (listed at 1 token)

May I have better fortune than the previous owner of these items.

I would most likely lug one of the team's universal chem throwers. Can I requisition a canister of namite just in case we want to burn things down instead of freeze them. Oh, so it eats heat eh? I think I can work with liquid helium.

"What other things are you taking?  It's unknown whether we can successfully recontain this.  You should probably take a contingency, and that contingency should not, for any reason, be a nuke.  I mean, come on, it eats heat, don't feed it to destroy it.  Overloading tests can come later, if we really must.  Some sort of corrosive agent, most likely, and a method of getting it to the place it needs to corrode.  Airdropping it?  Alternatively, if the thing could be launched into space, it would be effectively starved until we returned there."

Well sir, it seems that if we are to give up the items then best we go and volunteer for the quest.
