Anita looks around the Rec room.
The rec room has a variety of things: tv, sparing ring, VR Machines, kitchen, all manner of time wasting devices.
Brew tea and then drag the Ozark, Anita, and execute/dumbo.ee to my room for tea time, if they struggle knock them out with the force infuser to throw a pipe at their heads with enough force to knock them out. Use kin amp if necessary. Tie them to chairs. Then set room number to 8128
"get ready for tea time peoples! Come on, who doesn't like English breakfast and earl grey!?
Lift newbie above my head with both arms then run down to the armory and attempt to exchange him for tokens.
Do NOT make a charisma check, if charisma is required simply push him forward and point to the "returns/refunds" sign/tray/thingymajig.
Auron runs down the hall, lugging the newbie over his head until he sees spazyak's character, whose name I forgot for the moment. It proves unimportant, however, as Auron doesn't so much speak to him, as hurl the newbie directly into his head.
"BUY THIS NEWBIE. BUY IT" Auron screams at spazyak's unconscious body.
(By the way, yes spazyak, you can alter your sheet up until your first mission. Or until your first serious use of stats.)
Attempt in every way to break free and not be kidnapped. Call out for help. Locate any weapon at all that I can get my hands on.
Dester struggles against the behemoth hauling him around, still in shock from the animated hand and from waking in unfamiliar territory, plus being hauled up by whatever this new guy was. "Hey! What's going on? What was that ... that thing? What are you doing? Lemme down!"
New action: Try to get down without hurting myself, or being hurt by the big guy.
You crawl away from the entire stupid situation going on right now, sore but uninjured.
Avoid the crazy people, lay low till the next mission
((On an unrelated note I will not be on at all next week so if a mission does start I want to be retconned into it when I get back.))
If you think you can avoid crazy people by only showing up for missions, I've got some bad news for you.
((@piecewise: I'll assume Beirus' character didn't find the Fancy Shield sitting anywhere in the field of debris.))
By occasionally checking the datapad in order to follow the rescue team's state, Milno notices when it finally returns with the only surviving - half-dead - member of the team. He closes the braincase and heads to check on the recently-revived remains of Rookie's mission, cloak affixed to his back and the only piece of equipment missing on him being exactly the shield he had lent Rookie. Milno doesn't hurry there, knowing it'll take a while until they're awake and ready to receive some chewing.
He never did look for it.

((Phew.))
Well, you do all that.
Too bad you don't remember much of it by the time you've downed enough booze to wake up in the infirmary.
