Spoiler: Better (click to show/hide)

((Needs more sunglasses :P))

((I have to say 'no' to TTGL being our Titan. Because as much as I like TTGL, the Titan is described as being an all-terrain mobile base the size of a small mountain. And you should know that there is only one machine fit to be called that.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
))

((Yeah I know, but still, TTGL has SUNGLASSES. All that dai-gurren (I'm pretty sure that's what that's called, been awhile since watched) has is a sword-penis. Which just looks REALLY awkward.))

((Hey guys, you know how we haven't decided on a design for our titan yet?

((A thousand times yes for TTGL. But what's this about "our" titan? Did I miss anything?))

((Oh basically once we get all the current issues sorted out we can start building a Titan for the defenses. Also other defenses. BUT THE TITAN MUST INCORPORATE SUNGLASSES! THEY ARE INTEGRAL TO THE DESIGN!))

((Sunglasses DO protect the eyes from the sun! (a.k.a. the control room from the nukes.)))

((Laser eyes have faster travel time to the target, won't be lost when the sunglasses are shot down/deflected, and IMO look way cooler.
Yes I've seen the TTGL episode you're referencing, but Iron Giant has power of feels.))

((Huh. Don't we have a box that makes pills out of things? Can we stick a 'Jump Point' inside it?))
((Because making pills out of anomalous thingies always goes so well...))

((Hm. Have you tried sticking Steve in the pill machine? Or the Doctor?))
((I don't think the pill machine is big enough for that.))

((Give me a while to figure out a few logical arguments and I should be able to get him to make a copy of his brain and stick it in. It could give us multiple Doctors! How fucking awesome would that be?))
((You misspelled "terrifying".))

Thing is, the human mind simply isn't equipped to deal with centralized galactic government or even centralized planetary government societies larger than several dozen individuals. That's one of the main failings of the current UWM human society in general - no human being can run institutions that large in a truly efficient manner, no matter what their intentions may be.
((FTFY.))

Of course, it will lead to introducing regulations regarding to shoe sizes later on, but it's a good start. ^_^))
((Standardized show sizes are a good thing.))

((Huh? No, by 'true' fate I meant what would've really happened in that fight if I were the AS.
Which is my headcanon because seriously they don't know how the dodge.
Also bundle of reasons why IG stopping because of Hogarth isn't being beaten that I won't go into here because seriously this is going on too long.))

((I believe that the express purpose of the original Giga Drill Breaker's first half is to immobilize the opponent exactly so that dodging doesn't happen.

The few times where dodging could even have mattered, it was against the Anti-Spiral, whose entire raison d'etre  was to defeat the Dai-Gurren Brigade (and all Spirals) on equal footing, matching and outmatching them while being (rightfully) certain of his superiority, so dodging was inconceivable to him.

In your "real" world, the Dai-Gurren uprising would be over the moment they took over Cathedral Terra, with several of the Anti-Spiral's huge face monsters appearing out of netherspace and blasting the Earth into dust.))

((Eh, not like anyone else is posting :P

And your headcanon isn't the actual canon. Plus it doesn't take into account that the way spiral energy works, dodging makes you WEAKER. GL is an awesome universe :P))
