fire heavy beam projector towards palace. Also knock out messenger.
[con:6+1]
You promptly shoot the beam at the messenger, vaporizing him, before firing another up at the palace; carving a large hole into it's structure but not destroying it.
"Such wanton cruelty to such powerful devices! How terrible!"
Dance over to the Rec Room if I'm not there already, turn on the TV. Check what's up with the galaxy today.
You dance over to the rec room and turn on the tv. It displays static.
Anton tries to compose himself, as Simus ((presumably)) helps him move to the Infirmary.
"...Case in... damn.. point."
Get new feet. Attempt to seek cover if not in infirmary by the time of the blast, otherwise just watch out for flying surgical implements and collapsing ceilings - use the Red Hand as an armored gauntlet to shield my face/head from any debris.
((In my defense, I assumed the "self-destruct" mechanism to be more akin to the comparatively harmless method by which the sods' lifelocked equipment worked.
Though I did nail it with the "holding it like a grenade" thing. ))
New flesh feet (ie regen) or robo feet?
What happens is you move a few inches , the scales clink together, and it produces an exponential ripple effect that ends with you being atomized and a handful of unexploded kinetic amps being shot off into the upper mesosphere.
((That is hilarious. I had trouble not laughing loudly, but managed to restrain myself to an extended giggle. At least, that's the best thing I can call it. I have a weird spectrum of laughter.))

Assuming I still have control over Grate, avoid destroying anything. Maybe try to ascend into space, away from the planet.
Also, if possible, be able to say some last words. Those would be nice, if they're possible.
Dice say no.
Grab the cat-girl, jump to the corner and crouch down, body-shielding her.
You attempt to pull the cat girl away from her perch but she hisses and claws and bites in a way that you're fairly certain means she doesn't want to move. Jesus, it's like every date you've ever been on.
(( Jerk PW. It's even crossed out in your quote At least it wasn't a 1 XD ))
Grab the comatose Morul and take cover in the blackship
You drag morul back to the blackship and curl up inside it. You put morul on top of you.
Hey, you got him into cover, this is the least he can do in return.
Grab the cat-girl, jump to the corner and crouch down, body-shielding her.
Hiss loudly and still refuse to let go of Jim!
((oh, and pw, I'm going to want to go on the amp-cleanup team. I'll post it in-character whenever Lyra would no longer be distracted by...
yeah...))
Oh dear.
Transmute self into armor that is as tough as possible as well as heat-resistant.
Keep shielding.
Hey, keep my drone eye thing safe if you can. I think I put it by you.
[will:1+1]
Nope.
Keep shielding. Keep my head down though.
You keep standing there, either valiantly or stupidly.
Charles was about to scramble away from the mutilated corpse that was just delivered and check up on his injured comrade when the AM's announcement was heard. He immediately curls up into a ball.
Oh dear
Keep up the shield
((I hope just keeping the shield up won't take another roll. I honestly thought the shrapnel was coming this turn))
You can probably keep it up for one or two more turns at this rate.
Yeah, you still wear your suit beneath it. But you
better put those cameras on the outside of your
exosuit, least you get thermal vision of the inside of
your exosuit.
I distinctly remember you stating that those thermal cameras were modified to see through the canary base walls, can they not see through the exosuit armor as well?
install cameras on inside of exosuit in such a manner that tgey can see out without being vulnerable.
Upload thermal vision program to suit computer.
Oh, those cameras. Then yeah, those will work, though their resolution isn't the best.
OH DEAR
Rest my poor brain.
((I have to say, I wasn't expecting that. Very first time I use my amp, and I overshoot. Also, wondering how I managed to add more ice to a wall with a mass amp.))
SHHHHHHHHH They'll notice!
Gurgle gurgle coma gurgle
"Figures."
Avatar cloak, ho. If no deadly shrapnel hits Milno or if the shrapnel isn't deadly, then spend a turn concentrating on creating that sharkmist ridge.
I assume this means dynamic bonus.
Duck in the corner, then.
Oh dear
Hold Thomas.
Lock the door.
Get on the floor.
Everybody walk the dinosaur.
You Grab Thomas and wriggle around on the floor while singing songs from the 90's
Standard day really.
Try to find some place to hide. Think about a kinetic amp powered gatling gun.
You curl up in the corner and think about a clearly more complex and dangerous method of throwing pieces of metal at high speed toward your not-friends.
It seems Complex and dangerous.
Lars continues to loudly sing hymns of praise to Steve, most of which are made up on the spot.
Curl up in ball around Steve.
Oh dear.
Has there been any speculation on why the AM is so damn good with amps? I mean, if she went on 27 missions and poured every skill point into Exo and every stat point into Will, she'd have a +28 2/3 to Exo and a +31 to Will, but I've heard that she's some sort of godlike figure. Is this true or...?))
((She's probably not fully human at this point, too much raw power into one single being for that. Maybe she's linked to the Doc in that respect, though he was already there when she enlisted. Heh, maybe she's one of his more subtle experiments gone horribly right.
I mean, the Amp Specialist wasn't this powerful, and he was geared solely towards using amps and nothing else. I dunno, she seems a bit like a Mary Sue at this point, in that she hasn't really shown any kind of weakness or flaw I think. Maybe a bit vengeful, but then again, if convicted criminals are trying to 'get a peek' so to speak, who wouldn't be?))
((Weren't they UWM? They should've been killed if they were.))
((Some joined, those who refused were put into stasis. Word of Steve.))
Miyamoto: Mewtwo- overpowered psychic jerkwad.
((Jerkwad, seriously? That's just being vindictive. At least Mewtwo's a cool 'mon, I always liked his !SCIENCE! backstory and tragic character.
Anyways: Pancaek=Alakazam, because Psychic and SPOOOOONS.))

((BREAKING NEWS: somehow the convicted criminals of the infamous penal organisation HMRC are reported to have taken control of an important part of the UWM's administrative body, and have already begun to stage massed attacks on industrial, military and civilian targets. Though reports are vague at this point, it seems this was accompanied by severe Class III Anomalous Events. More on this as it develops. Be sure to catch our special episode of 'Hell is other People' which will focus on the various atrocities the HMRC has committed over the years, including leveling crowded cities, gleeful destruction of property and the genocide of alien species. And now Mary with the weather.))
fire heavy beam projector towards palace. Also knock out messenger.
((I laughed at the mental image of this.
"And now, it is of the utmost importance that you protect the palac" *SOCKED IN THE FACE*
"Shut up ya boring git, I'mma laserin' da castle!"))
See if I can grab more unprotected people to 'welcome' them in the group protectohug, once debris start flying use manip to push them away from teammates.
Oh dear
Duck. Control bladder. Control May.
Oh dear
Denzel uses Defense Curl! To be exact, move behind Steve to the far wall and curl up so that as much of me as possible is between any possible shrapnel and my brain case.
You get as much metal, steve and yourself between the direction of the shrapnel and your brain as possible.
STEPHEN HAWKING stops screaming and goes to see if he can find the body of the spare Grate.
The other grate body I think was still out there at the crater. Auron was gonna steal it but it had nothing on it so he left it. Or it's in his box? I forget to be honest. Doesn't really matter though.
((With all the Grate issues, maybe we need to pass an ARM mandate that outlaws Grates, as they've reached The Walking Dead's Ben level of liability.
.....
I apologize, definitely not as bad as Ben, but Grates do seem to lack any real practical usage, and usually end up pretty badly.))
Grate you lost the boat?! God damn it.
find other sensor feeds to look through (maybe some thermals on the inside of the ship that can see through the walls?) also continue being curled up behind the AM's counter
You stay curled up and search the ship for working cameras. It seems there's a good deal of electrical interference going on...
Take some shelter somewhere and curl up as small as possible. Make sure to shield my head and neck as much as possible.
You cover your head with one arm and your balls with the other hand. Priorities.
Enter BT and try to avoid any incoming shrapnel.
You enter Bullet time and stand ready to dodge or slice apart anything that comes at you, bro.
The shrapnel that comes flying in through the walls of the ship is ranges in size from a few millimeters to a meter across. Its atomic structure is quickly unraveling, now that it's not being held together by the Armory master, but when it reaches the ship and starts punching through it's still got more mass and momentum per centimeter squared then a school bus fired out of a linear accelerator. The speed that the pieces are moving render it impossible to decern the small differences in when they hit; to the people on the inside of the ship, one moment everything is fine then there's a loud clang and now everything is Swiss cheese.
A piece gets close enough to Maurice to raise first degree burns on his back where it barely missed him and Milno finds a fist sized hole in his cloak but none on in him, luckily.
Lyra, in the middle of hissing and yowling, suddenly jerks and falls off jim. She lands on the ground, unconscious, with a bullet sized hole in her chest and blood pooling around her.
Charles, curled in his defensive position, Loses a few toes as a piece of shrapnel clips his foot.
Auron takes a hit straight in the femur of his left leg and it basically severs the limb clean off.
Leo catches a manhole cover sized and shaped piece just above the belly button and is severed clean in two.
Lars gets picked up and hurled across the room by steve moments before a hunk of metal comes in and cleaves steve's arm off.
Miyamoto, or rather his avatar, takes a piece to the back of the knee and it punches straight through. He falls to a kneeling position but doesn't move otherwise.
Thomas reaches out to grab May and suddenly finds himself one arm short.
Through the myriad holes in the ship, the outside world is visible, as though at the end of a long, metal tunnel. In the distance, beyond the administration building, strange lights fill the sky and great explosions, like a fire cracker string of nukes, can be heard. The ship rumbles constantly and much of the inmate deck has lost power. The few lights that remain on are blinking red emergency lights. Most light comes from streaming in as hard shafts of illumination in the darkness, the bleak light of Hephaestus shining in through the holes in the hull.
