((If and when I have the time, I'd like to do some VR training against the Doc and AM and other superpowered beings (like Arbiters of Peace). As powerful as the doc is, if I create a hollow bubble of intense gravity around myself I'm pretty sure melee attackers gonna have some trouble with that. Unless he can ignore that stuff for some reason. And if all else fails, I'll try to use the manip to start oxidizing all the carbon and other viable atoms he's made of. Or remove gravity around him and send him into space or whatever. I've only got 1/9 chance of getting anything lower than a 4 when rolling for Uncon after all. But eh, we'll see when we get there.))

((...this was tested a long time ago, and he's not in the VR system.  Neither are the other Doc-created monstrosities (see: Xan).  I imagine there's a reason for this.  I gathered some evidence on this a while back- I'll see if I can find it.))

You turn to look at one of the jars just as doctor kicks open the door and steps in, carrying faith on his shoulder.

"Ah, Manifold formed nicely. Good. Body insulated now. What next, propulsion or pressure differential?"

He talks while throwing faith on the bed you were using and tearing her MKII open with his bare hands. You shrink back and avert your eyes from Faith as the Doctor continues to tear her suit open.

"Should I..come back later?" You ask, staring at a wall.

"No. No. We'll get to you in a minute. One thing though."

You look back and the doctor is staring at you without his glasses, solid black eyes locked on yours.

"Keep facing that wall."

You look away quickly and try to ignore the sounds: the hiss of gas escaping and of something metal clattering to the ground, of wet and meaty tearing and cracking, of strangled coughing. You cover the holes that are now your ears with your bony hands and close your eyes, huddling in the corner.

The doctor swings for your legs, trying to break a knee cap. You hop over the blow and try to bring your blade down on his head.

Your blade parts his skull all the way down till it stops just on the bridge of his glasses.

You rip your blade free and leap backwards, feeling a something wiz just past your nose as you do. The doctor's bat slams into the ground with enough force to fracture the solid metal like a piece of glass.

The doctor straightens up, is skull knitting itself back together as he does.
"Good Good!" He says clapping his hands and throwing the handle of the bat away, "Many have died to that. Let their fear or worry get the best of them, or got cocky, assuming I was dead. Never assume anything is truly neutralized until it's been burnt to ash." He shakes his head, seemingly jerking himself away from some tangent he was about to embark on.

You allow the goggles to continue focusing your strange new vision, the level of detail you can see slowly increasing, new layers coming into view. You begin being able to see the vague innards of the doctor's mask, as well as something else, even stranger. There appears to be some sort of...field or bubble around the doctor; it's a dark purple, thick and slowly vibrating, encompassing him very tightly like a second skin.

"May I ask what you're staring at?" The Doctor says as you continue to glare at him.'

You remove your goggles and wink at wink your bad eye at the doctor. In that moment of enhanced sight you see something; it's just a flash, a glimpse. A glimpse of dozens of eyes and fangs and twisted flesh, and countless skeletally thin arms reaching toward you. And then it's gone as you open your eye, banished back to whatever nether realm it came from.

"Oh, I'm not worried." The doctor says, walking away, "I've got eyes in the back of my head."

"If you don't, I will." He says, reaching for his respirator.

"Fine. Fine." She says and waves her hand in Ivan's direction.

((I think his human form is merely a matter of convenience/conformity, and his true form is something far, far different. The best mental analogue I can come with is Boris the Animal from Men In Black 3, if you've seen that movie.

The last quote, I think, is AM intervening before the Doctor unleashes his true form.  The "metal clattering to the ground" in the Faith quote I believe is just that- his respirator falling free as his true form comes out.))

If yes, we could ask her to upload some of his characteristics to VR. Not his true self, of course, but simply a thing with comparable combat abilities for us to practice on.))

I simply implied I want to make a shuriken launcher battery that can launch single-atom blades into an orbiting battleship to cut it into pieces. Oooo and then we could put a nuke or something in the middle of the shuriken and have it explode after entry!
