"Allied Revolutionary Movement? That's even better than what I came up with. Supporting that one, definitely."

Vote ARM. Practice applying the autopilot OS to a nearby non-intelligent or willing robotic device.
You can't find any sitting around that don't belong to someone. And, considering one guy got his head flattened via pile driver in a fight over the tv remote, it might not be a good idea to play with others toys.

Stacy, feeling the argument fever pass as quickly as it came, returns to acceptance of whatever reasonable authority figures tell him.

"Yeah, let's go with ARM. It's way catchier and easier to pronounce than UWM. Compare 'arm' to 'uwum', and you will find that the latter sounds like a deaf baby's rendition of the former. Most acceptable! And we can just adopt the catchy acronym and not even provide any official interpretation of the letters. 'What is ARM?' Little Jimmy may ask, and we can answer 'ARM, like life, is what you make of it, my son!' I can see the propaganda videos already."

"Say, Steve, what's your stance on a First Church of Our Most Holy Steve? How many people know you go by Steve? How many of them are your friends?"

Vote! Ask Steve!

>if you want to worship me, go ahead. If you want to worship a the food dispenser, go ahead. Set up a whole divine hierarchy of machines with me at the top. I really don't care as long as you can function on missions and don't scare away our potential supporters.

>Everyone knows I go by Steve. It's my name.

>Define friends.

"Allied Revolutionary Movement sound good to me, and ARM is nice and simple to remember which is only good in my book." Bishop adds, nodding in approval.

"So what's next to do? Anything interesting?"

Vote Yes for ARM. Ask Steve for upcoming events.

>Well, first thing's first, we have to get the shipyards repaired and lure those workers back out with promises of free candy or something.  Then We get the planet working at full capacity. The Doctor is going to oversee the creation of a Flesh Pit so we can start manufacturing useful organic automata. And of course we're going to need to expand the Synth-flesh tanks if they're going to be able to sustain the production of a titan.

ARM works for me.

(( PW I suppose that the drones qualify as 'damaged' with 3 missing drones, then? So 6 tokens?))

Yes.

((@Radio Controlled: I told you, the smoke grenades and cameras combined only cost 2 tokens, not 5.
((Woops, typo. I'll fix that.))
((We could make it a recursive acronym. ARM = ARM's Revolutionary Movement))
((But only if we then create a flag with some Droste effect!))

"I'm ok with that name, ARM sounds good enough to me."

((CURRENT TOKEN TOTAL. This is our budget for paying people. That's everybody, all of the 3 teams. Which is about (5 (Milno) + 8 (Jimiya) + 3*5 (defense team) ) 28 people.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((This is getting me some major cred with the accounting monthly people.))

Oh, and action:

Do I have any scrap metal left?
If no, go gather some more from the debris.
If yes, ask AM if I could get a few dummies (even just a few metal stands will work) for free and try out my new naginata, practice on the dummies. If no free dummies, just swing it around a bit, try to get a feeling of the weight and the balance. Try to find out how sharp it is, and how resistant to breaking or dulling.

You get some more debris and try swinging your weapon around a bit. It seems to function well enough. You think it could survive being used in combat, though it's not indestructible.

>Alright, ARM it is then.

>Now, I think the thing most of you are eager to get to is the bonuses, to augment your salary.  So I'm gonna do it like this, in the most egalitarian method possible. You tell me exactly what you did this mission and how much you think it's worth. Then I'll decide whether that's reasonable or if I should ask Jim to beat some financial reasonability into you.

"No, what I'm asking, Steve, is whether Steve is your official name or just one you picked for yourself in an unofficial capacity - I'm thinking the second is more likely, but hey, you never know. Maybe whoever made you just went 'hey, let's just call him Steve and go home'."

"Also... what did I do? Let's see. I went along with the ship recovery team, where I took several shots for the team, saving fleshier people from doing the same. Well, maybe with the exception of Xan, but he got better, it seems. That's not very impressive, I have to say, but one also cannot state that I did not try."

"Secondly, I went along with the amp-hunting team. There things took an... interesting turn. There are two perspectives one can consider on that front, really. There's the positive perspective and the negative perspective. From a positive perspective, I used a microwave field manipulator to deprive the amp man of cover, remove the trouble of the bottleneck he tried to place us into and make him sustain light damage while inflicting no permanent harm to any teammates, it seems,"
Stacy explains, glancing at Grate. "And if you really, really push it, you might even say that the result of this action that I took led to another teammate, General Jim, inflicting the killing blow on said amp person before he could perform another, possibly deadly amp attack. It's really up for interpretation how it would have gone otherwise, but it most certainly would have been different."

"If you prefer the negative perspective, then you can also mention that said manipulator maneuver buried and otherwise hurt several teammates, though none of them seem to have sustained much in the way of permanent harm, as was mentioned. I am sure some of them, or possibly most of them, hold a grudge over the event, one that I hope to alleviate by never using a manipulator again. I believe one of them even said they would make me eat my manipulator as well as any I bought from there on in despite the obvious fact that I have nothing to eat it with as well as the less obvious fact that this could very well obliterate large swathes of perfectly good property."

"In conclusion, to assign a token value to the bonus I could get... I, naturally, would prefer for my total tokens for this mission to add up to five or so, or six if you really feel that I was a net positive for the team, but would also be content, if slightly disappointed, with four total, as that would make my pay this time around lesser than the time I overloaded my previous manipulator and froze over a huge section of a populated city."

"Let's see, I began setting up defenses, warned the main defense force about incoming sods, took a few out, searched for and destroyed the anomalous heat source, and survived the Amp Specialist. Uhhhh, four token?

Four token as a bonus?

I woke up, then you sent me on the mission. I got there just as things were wrapping up, but I did manage to test my rifle a bit and drag a wounded soldier to safety.

Hey Steve, could you also give an extra token to that giant robot guy? He saved my ass.

"Haven't been too ineffectual, blasted scout drones disregarded, I suppose. Aided defensive efforts, staked out the flying underground lair of the space wizard, provided a pair of teammates with experimental rifles - though only partially with own funds..."

Anton looks around, and gets the attention of Feyri and Auron.

"I'll be expecting a field performance review on those, by the way!"

He turns back to Steve.

"Don't think I did anything else that mattered in the end. So... I don't know. The mission was mostly hours of waiting followed by five minutes of excitement and a hospital bed, for me. Two token? Three? I'd really rather have five in total to make a second Red Hand, but any amount I end up with is fine, I guess."

Answer. Ask for two or three token bonus, or just five standard total with any other payouts. Remind Auron and Feyri to provide reviews of the Gungnir, in order to have it as standard gear in the Armory.
