"I don't think they got to the gangway, Gorat.  Lets go hunt for the remnants."
Message team asking if anyone's spotted the spy.
"A look through the window to make sure doesn't take too much time."

If there's no sods to kill through the window, go hunting with Leo.

Anton walks cautiously through the carnage, scanning the surroundings for signs of enemy movement.

"You people... sure know how to paint the town red, if you know what I mean."

Walk through the concourse to the gangway, be on alert for hostiles that could still be alive.

"I think my ribs are broken. Fuck me, that was stupid. Least I got some."

Get treated, buy another gauss clip, and get back out to the gangway, and into the lobby. Check to see if I could cut up the batons the sods carried and use it as ammunition.
The Infirmary seems a bit busy at the moment; they just sort of park you off to the side while they handle other, more important things.

Grin as my brain is being operated on.
Be really jealous of Renen somehow.

Wahts a Renbom? Oh eeha speech ceptar of bran!

(almost done)

"Very interesting. Buffers, eh? Do you know of any ways to connect to an amp or a manipulator remotely? The organochemistry overriders seem to be able to do it just fine, in a way, so has there been any research in that direction that you know of, or was it all completely and utterly forbidden and probably done anyway, but sufficiently secretly so that nobody (except maybe our good friend Steve) knows about it?"

"Also, I'm not sure if I've asked you this once already, but how are field manipulators automated? Does it involve implanting human brains into the device, or is it done through some other method?"

Ask more about the multitudinous mysteries of fields and their manipulation.
"10. 9. 8. 7..."

Gorat grimaces. "Someone was faster than us, I suspect. Let's see if our comrades need backup, then."

Look through the window for sods to shoot.

Spoiler: Gorat 'Chin' Ivanos (click to show/hide)
No sods visible, captain!  Least...no Sods that are still in one piece. Ew.

Renen goes back to where the defense team is. He looks back at the carnage that was of his doing. Years before, he never even thought of becoming a murderer and now he had been turned into a killing machine. He cleans himself and sits down to wait for the next wave of soldiers, always ready to enter bullet-time if anything happens.

This is war now, all that bloody glory. This the way I chose and I will stay in. Rest in peace, sods.

Out of BT. Clean myself form the blood and rest a little, always ready to enter bt mode and attack any enemies. Send a message to Doc.

The alterations are pretty good. Thanks. I just did something that I would never be able to do in my previous body. The flesh is weak indeed.
You walk back and sit with your cat friend, toweling the gore off while you wait for another opportunity to fight.

Charles quickly runs to his turret, staying hidden and in cover before replacing the conventional magazine with the ClF3 magazine. He then runs back.
You replace your Gun's magazine with something a bit more hazardous. Ok, a LOT more hazardous.

((Thats rather clever actually... i may have to construct some sort of gauss potato gun and some kind of cookie cutter for ferromagnetic items when i get back.))
((Gauss potato gun? Um...sorry bud, but potatoes are nonmagnetic, except maybe a little diamagnetism, and the general idea of a "potato" gun is completely without a Gauss analogy.))

"Um...is it safe?"

Check for safety. If nothing look dangerous, head to the Sword and chat with the Doctor about if he wants to do tests on one of the fuzzy little guys and sequencing their DNA and stuff like I was going to do.
If, on the other hand, I notice something dangerous (other than my teammates, to cut off that line of humor/misinterpretation), keep under cover and make sure everyone knows about it. Using messages or something, not by shouting my head off.
You and Feyri carry the box of fluffy ants back to the ship and into the infirmary. You wander around a bit but can't find the Doc or Maurice. The place seems quite busy right now, for some reason. The few nurses that are still around are tending to the civs  or trying to restrain a man screaming about inverted colors.

(( Considering I didn't get murdered crossing what used to be enemy lines to get Morul, I'm going to assume that things are quiet now.

Also, how many people have I either brought back or fixed to the point that they could come back this mission? 5-ish, plus the civies? I feel like such a competent medic! You know, if we ignore that instead of doing any medicine I've been a glorified corpse delivery service for the med bay :P ))

Well, that ended abruptly. And with only one casualty. Well, one and a half...

If Steve, enact plan fix flight computer!

Else, go check on poor Pancaek, escort him to the medbay if I think they can help him recover faster. Otherwise, leave him to his amp-induced misery

No steve (yet) and Pancaek can't really be helped by the Infirmary, he's just got to rest his brain.

"You know, I appreciate the whole blowing up half of the gangway with their own ordinance thing. It was quite amusing. But you really should be more careful, you're kinda useless right now. more than normally, I mean"

"sssssschut up.....I am not ushelsh now, I'll prove it oncshe my hurt stops braining....uuugh"

stay with my metal face on the metal floor, try and see how long it would take to be able to do something again. If Skylar is so kind as to drag me off, don't struggle.
Oh...you could probably move around, but using your amps is gonna take a while. You were moments away from provoking a feedback event there, gonna take your brain a while to recover.

"well, I'm glad I'm a sociopath right now or I would be throwing up cause I mean Jesus! What the hell did you do?!"
serch the corpses for anything cool!
I dunno, what defines cool? Everything is lifelocked so about the best you can find are metal batons. That and lots of gore. I suppose that if you always wanted a liver or some kidneys to juggle or something, it's cool, but beyond that...

"Well that was interesting."
Look for any other hostiles that might be trying to sneak in on us.
((No, blood does not count.))
Looks clear for now. Yay psychics and murder-bots.

climb up to the top of the cage the Sword is in, keep watch for additional incoming hostiles or other threats.
Thomas watched his comrade charge in, open fire, and promptly get shot down without even saying a word, just thinking to himself that every time the HRMC does something well, they promptly must compensate for it.

Scope up, start taking them out.
I can't help but feel you're a wee bit behind, Thomas, old friend.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

If there's no sods to kill through the window, go hunting with Leo.

Leo And Chin start searching around the offices. It's not hard to find where the sods were when they got mowed down; bit hard to miss that much blood and gore. But finding where they came from is more difficult. They figure they came from the left, down the main hall, but there's no sign of where they were before that or any other sods in the area. Strange.

Anton walks cautiously through the carnage, scanning the surroundings for signs of enemy movement.

"You people... sure know how to paint the town red, if you know what I mean."

Walk through the concourse to the gangway, be on alert for hostiles that could still be alive.

You walk out to the gangway, kicking bits of intestine off your feet as you do. No sign of hostiles.

The entire base building reverberates for a second as the PA system kicks on.

>I'd make reference to a particular 20th century movie about a killer robot saying he'd be back, but I fear that might paint me in a none too great light. Wow. You've all been having fun I see.

Hey peeps, Miyamoto here.

We've taken control of the command room. Small problem: there is a Shadow Walker lobbing thermonuclear rocket-assisted gauss rounds at us. Now that he has so conveniently revealed his position, would any of you be so kind to go hunt him down? Or at least shoot any further rounds out of the sky, 'cause I am currently taking a headache induced siesta here.

Cheers,

Miya

Hey buddy! Good to hear you've completed your objective. I'd love to help you with your shadowwalker problem, but I just stopped a barrage of gauss round mid-air and then send them back to the sods, leveling a few rooms as well. I'm sorry to say that I won't be much help right now, as I only seem to mentally capable of hugging the floor with my face for a while. How are you doing, by the way?

Love and huggles,
Your friend,
Pancaek.

stand up slowly, then poke around the gibs and look for a baton and a skull. Also look for other shinies, though I doubt anything worthwhile wasn't lifelocked. When done searching or at first sign of trouble, get back into cover

Maintain my (was my action skipped even though you quoted it? you didn't say anything about it) new post on top of the cage. watch for incoming LESHO fire and be ready to fry the electronics inside.
((i think miyamoto handled the earlier LESHO round the hard way))

Look for less-obvious entrances.  Check in with other teams.  "Building looks clear, no sign of spy.  Anyone mindjacked?

Quite good fun, how was your conversation with ARES? Jack's got your data from the blackship ...and the flight computer. Could I get that back so I can get back out there to support our remote teams?

Also, I hear the other team is having a problem with LESHO rounds... any chance the point defense lasers on that blackship could handle that?

Welcome the return of our benevolent overlord, then ask if I can get a copy of the flight computer back.

If I do, head down to the blackship and reinstall the flight computer.

A Shadow Walker, I'm going there right now.

Steve, could give me Miyamoto's location?

Go to where Miyamoto says the Shadow Walker is, get ready for any incoming attacks. Enter Bullet-time if necessary for defense or attack.
