((Is that all antimatter is?))

((Yep. Antimatter is mostly just matter that has reversed charges. There's a few quantum differences (such as lepton and baryon number differences) as well, but the main factor is the charges.))

((Huh. I always thought the reversed charge was a side effect of the underlying cause.))

((It might be, but it's also the main distinction, I think. I'm starting to get a bit out of my depth, loath I may be to admit it.))

((I suppose the big question is: What would happen if you reversed normal-matter's subatomic particles' charges?))

((I suppose the big question is: What would happen if you reversed normal-matter's subatomic particles' charges?))

((Major electric charge stops at the first subatomic level (protons, electrons, and neutrons), as far as I know. Modifying sub-subatomic units would involve their flavour, or potentially, for some particles, their colour.))

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

((Alright, what happens when a positive electron shell meets a negative one? Let's say helium, for as low of a reactivity and as high of a simplicity as possible. They would presumably be attracted to each other, as would the nuclei, so they would intersect until they occupied the same space. What then?))

((...And what is an anti-neutron?))

(There is no anti-neutron.  It's neutral.  Though technically speaking I think you can count a neutron with antiquarks as an anti-neutron.)

((As far as I know, electron-positron annihilations. All of the mass of the electrons and positrons is converted to 511keV gamma rays.))

((If there aren't anti-neutrons, what holds antimatter nuclei together?))

((Antiatoms have antineutrons (except, instead of reverse charge, it's reversed baryon number). The nucleus is held together by the strong nuclear force (or strong interaction), the positrons bound to it by electromagnetism.))

((So if there is anti-matter, is there anti-energy? :P

Also question about the void suit. Kisame seems so worried about telefragging, but technically wouldn't just popping into normal space from the void cause telefragging? Y'know, with that magic thing called air? What I'm trying to say is that we all know that two things can't occupy the same space, so how is it that him appearing in the middle of a bunch of air doesn't telefrag him?
The only reasonable answer I can think of is that it pushes the air, and thus ANYTHING that would potentially telefrag away beforehand. Granted if he reappeared in solid granite it would still be bad because then he wouldn't be able to reach his button and would just slowly starve to death instead of the quick death of cellular rearrangement, but hey, nothings perfect XD.))

((There's negative energy. About all I know about it is that in the form of matter it has negative mass and weight, and that about a Jupiter of it could hold a wormhole open.))
