Then find Jim, Milno, Feyri, Faith or Ivan and see if they recognize it.
((Saving your time on that one.))

Milno instantly recognizes the pyramid, or at least he thinks he does. "Looks like the same alien weapon I recovered during my first mission. You can will it to shoot then it spins, stops spinning after a while and fires a laser beam." the young man explains, glancing down at the prosthetic replacing the part missing from his arm. "It's powerful, but if it goes wrong then you're at the very least losing your arm."

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"Hmm, thought so.  Well, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for me... you think there's any way to find out for sure what this does without blowing a hole in the hull?"

((Try it in VR? I'm not sure it would work, but it's worth a shot.))

What functions would I lose? Also, ask the AM if she'll fund a prototype.

"Doc, I'm ready when you are."

Go. Go to the next level. Evolve. Become... the Avatar of War.

((I'd write something more elaborate, but alas, no time.
At least you'll be spared of more of my rp  :P ))

If possible, wake up.

"In case it's the same weapon, don't think so. Try willing it off your arm just in case. I never had time to do it myself."

STEPHEN HAWKING reasons that its still not good to have a cut up hand, even if not in immediate danger of bleed out or anything, and goes to the doctor anyway.
Once there he asks whatever medical staff are on hand to un-slice his hand.
If the Mad Doktor is there STEPHEN HAWKING asks him if he will participate in an experiment to see what happens if STEPHEN HAWKING fully amputates his arm, with the condition that the arm will be re-attached or replaced if the knife doesn't create some magical construct or something weird like that.

On radio: "I repeat, anyone who wishes to be the APC gunner, come to the garage,"
((I totally would but STEPHEN HAWKING isn't good with guns. And also he is nursing/experimenting at the moment.))

((Awesome Miyamoto transformation is awesome.))
((He needs those hands for his manipulator. It's hard to type without any hands. And the manipulators need to have the equations solved by a human with no interaction by someone or something else, so no speech-to-text interface would work.))

Pay off my debts. 5 tokens to Miyamoto (give them to him through the AM if you don't want to just have them transferred), 1 to Jim and 1 to Lars.

((@Paris: Didn't Lars toss a token your way?))
((Yep. I had six tokens. He gave me one. So then I had seven and I thought they were enough. Turns out I need 8 though. But it's not an emergency. If nobody lends me one I'll just return the money I owe to Miyamoto (5 tokens pending for battlesuit) and Lars (1 token). I just really want some sort of superpowered alien weapon to destroy enemy heavy units with. I already got my cutting laser for light targets. Auron still owes me some money (3 tokens+) but unless he manages to sell something, I don't think he can pay me before the end of the next mission.))

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.
