((My veiw is that green is wearable, red is weapon, blue is medicine, purple is, purple.. and gold is extreme alien shit. The shapes are "Levels" of something, be it danger, power, whatever, and lines may indicate whether or not something leans more towards benign, than openly hostile. No line is indifferent. So pretty much what Irony said, but condensed.))

test the new "Sandbag" tool:
if kept in a lit/loud environment, does it grow additional sand for the user to control?
how much force can be applied by the sand without hardening it? how much force can be applied while hardening it?
can the sand be finely controlled while scattered around the user?
how much sand is in a single sandbag?
can unhardened sand be returned to the sandbag after use?
does the controller have to be arm-mounted? can it be controlled through a backpack mount and treated as an extra limb through a prosthetic connection?
can the sand be controlled despite there being obstacles between the sand and the user?
how far can the sand be controlled from?

test how effective it could be at blocking bullets, isolating each of the following variables:
user is walking/standing still/running
user is actively controlling the sand/user is not actively controlling it
sand is kept in an aura around the user/sand is kept in bag/sand is kept in a loose wall between the user and the shooter, sand is kept in a tight wall between the user and the shooter.
sand is kept unhardened/sand is hardened in small bunches directly in front of the bullets as necessary/sand is hardened ahead of time in small bunches/sand is hardened in a large mass
"bullets" are thrown knives/crossbow-launched crossbow bolts/old-style pistol shots from an old-style pistol/civilian gauss rounds/military gauss rounds/gauss cannon

examine the sandbag for any hidden or unusual features or capabilities that might not have been mentioned in the item description.

practice with the sandbag in VR, take a large bag of bright red normal sand and scatter it on the ground, then use the sandbag sand to shape the red sand into various words and sentences, while periodically having random objects launched at me and using the sandbag sand to catch the objects and then throw them back at whatever threw them. progressivly decrease the size of the letters, increase the number of words, increase the speeds of the thrown objects, and increase the number of thrown objects thrown at once or in rapid succession.thrown objects range in size from speeding pebbles to the largest the sandbag can manage to manipulate to anywhere in between at random.

That said, I should probably PM PW about how we're going to do this. I could just gather up all of his PMs, but I don't have most of mine and I'm not sure if he had something more formal in mind. Might not even want me sharing all of his precious secrets for some reason.))

Green Hexagon, No Line: Morul's Goggles. I'm not caught up enough on the mission thread to know if we've learned anything else, but they let him see a lot about things... and seem to have permanently altered his vision. Also thin men creeping about in vision mode.

(( Yeah, that got worse on mission. The thin men took his eyes, by all indications. And part of his brains. Quite delightful stuff. He actually doesn't remember a good chunk of the mission because of that XD ))

Or more accurately, what the hell happened betweeen those two points that I have forgotten IRL, and am supposed to roleplay forgetting ingame.))

(( Um... other than everything on the mission before that point (which was shortly after you shot down the shuttle), I think the only important thing to forget was 'everything you learned about the goggles', but not that they were yours. ))
