Well not for nothing, but wouldn't Feyri just get cybered? And if that's the case, would she even need the MkIII?

((It has a strength-enhancing exoskeleton and rocket pods for flight. Non-purchased robot bodies only give the advantage of not bleeding.))

(Oh lol, I thought they also did the "you no longer need a suit" thing.)

((They do, but the MKIII still has some use for robotic users.))

Head to the armory and try to find someone.

((Hence my procurement of the rocket pods off of one for Simus.

Also, Grate and/or Lyra might be in for a shock if they wander off from Feyri after seeing her robotized and find Simus, since they'll look identical if Simus is in VR, since she won't have her rocket pods or phase armor on, and those are pretty much the only things that distinguish her.))

((Assuming she gets the feminized body Simus did.  One can assume she'll have the locket around her robo neck, though.))

((The "feminized" body isn't really that different from the base model, and she might be given it regardless. Of course, she could elect to become a Victor, I suppose. And I have to wonder if she'll even still have the locket, considering the location where the suit snipped. There might be a bit of chain left, but I'd bet the majority of it got left behind.

Anyways, I'm just noting that it has a potential of happening.))

"Sure. Wasn't sure how long that kind of thing takes." Milno answers, quite sincerely so.

Milno wanders to the rec room and checks the scene.

I have been thinking since I have not used either yet, and I have not gone on a mission yet, can I swap my 3 points in CHA out for the same number added to INT?

OK try this

Spoiler: Image (click to show/hide)

Also test to see if, with the hemisphere removed it can still effect melee damage, just use a piece of concrete or something

((if this thing works I want to have the focusing chamber retractable so it can be used melee against harder targets/at all in a vacuum))

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

((Is the hemisphere supposed to be hollow? Is the sensor and business side of the amp in the right or in the left? What purpose does the hemisphere have? How do you imagine this weapon working/inflicting damage?

Just trying to understand what that's supposed to be.))

The hemisphere is to help channel the shockwaves, you know how a flashlight or a shaped charge only has a forward arch of effect, that's what the hemisphere is fore, there will be more on the end if I can get it working, business end is away from piston.

((SC suggested i actually ask you about that))

((I'm not surprised. I appear to have become the source of info on weapons design. My own fault for getting so technical about it, I suppose.

From your description and images, you appear to be working towards and arm-mounted, gauss-propelled kinetic amp battering ram which, due to the properties of kinetic amps, your design includes a jacket to produce a shockwave effect. I've actually been toying around with a similar idea, sans gauss assist and shockwave, in the form of tonfa with kinetic amps (or shock probes), with an attached suit-compliant weighted glove. Your design is much more complicated, but would also be much, much more powerful, usable at short range and for demolition work.))
