"Ah. That would explain it. So, may I inquire what your name is? And if I may, what is it?"
Ask AM what her name might be.
"Nope."
She flips to a new page in her book.
Good to learn a bit about the program.
That was fun, although that medigun thingy seemed to cause more problems than it solved...what should I make next?
...What SHOULD I make next?
Exit VR Machine. Locate someone nearby.
"Hi, Mr/Ms! Is there something you want designed on the design thingy?"
Repeat until someone gives me a plausible idea.
'
You walk out into the center of the room and begin screaming, "Give me your ideas! I want to design things but my tiny child head is full of stupid!"
Celeste comes to after the anesthetic wears off. "Wh... Already...? Feels like that took no time at all..." It then hits her that there is an extremely new sensation in her replaced knee. Or, to be accurate, a lack of one. The pain that she had lived with for years was gone. She stood up, testing the feel of her new limb, as the reality of having a properly functioning knee sets in. "I... I can finally walk again..." She takes a few steps and quickly realizes that years of living with a limp have taught her to subconsciously autocorrect for it; now that she didn't have a limp, this causes her to walk rather clumsily. "...This is actually going to take some getting used to, heh." She makes her way back to the armory, trying to teach herself how to walk instead of limp as she goes.
Return to the armory, albeit slightly clumsily.
Introduce self to Lyra.
[speech:May]
"Hello. One time I fucked a tiger, but that was back when I was a man."
She sort of just makes a strangled choking noise.
((Screw 5, May is clearly the best roll.))
You return to the armory, slowly getting used to walking with a fully functional, mechanical leg rather then a sort of functional fleshy one. Ah the joys of advanced robotics.
Inquire if Lyra is a pony.
PonyInquire if Lyra is a pony.
make eye contact.
maintain eye contact.
make sure she blinks first, then stop staring and look over her right shoulder.
((it actually is a coincidence i guess. is Lyra a MLP name or something?))
((Wah? XD
Also, I don't think it depends on whether Lyra = MLP name or not. Its not the show that defines a person. I didn't even see the show because it doesn't show here...Looks kinda good though.
Edit: Oh. Thanks Sean!))
((Who would have thought suicide was this hard.))
((Who would have thought immortality would be this inconvenient? ))
((Probably anyone who's thought about it for any long length of time.))
((Think harder. You're just being tormented. ))
((ceramic-pale misproportioned woman who introduces herself by saying she fucked a tiger back when she was a man. yep, i'd say that counts as a potential predator until i learn otherwise.))
((You're still looking at it as a possibility with the term 'counts'?))
You can decorate and modify it. However:
>I'm not sure how rocket fuel will help keep bodies intact. Usually it has the opposite effect. Armor works just fine though, look at milno.
>I assume you're asking if you can make the visor function as a scope basically? Make it zoom in on targets? Then yes. And yes, you can play music on it already. People have done it in the past.
>visual camo exists, yes. Someone else had some at some point in the past but resold it.
"Alright, thanks Steve."
Feyri went off to ask the AM about if the visor could be modified in such a manner. An adjustable scope. Then the price of such.
If possible, she also asks if there would be a cameyes add-on to the visor, then its price.
((How does the visor look like anyway? I'm thinking of it as the secondary covering beneath the metal faceplate which receives communication and the video feeds from outside of our suits. When removed [like a visor], it exposes the person inside to the external air, but if just without the faceplate then it functions like a glass window. Right?))
Your visor can already zoom.
And yeah, you can build in a cam-eye style camera into the visor. It costs as much as a normal cam eye.
Also the helmet is like this: There's the faceplate, the electronic display that's on the inside of that faceplate, and then the clear internal helmet that is more like what people expect from a space suit helmet. Like this;
Most of the time you guys are using the electronic display on the inside of the face plate.
((Oh for the love of-
Apparently it's a brony term for certain inappropriate things. ಠ_ಠ))
Do not make me Vent the Atmosphere to stop this place from showing up in a MLP thread simulator.
((And then dark hard science RTD with black humour elements became about MLP. And then about clopping.))
Yeah, a UWM fort is fine.
Ok. You may want to put yourself a couple miles out, since they've got automated defenses and most of it is underground.
Jobasio, carefully lifting his rifle by the shoulder strap so as not to smear the wet paint, glanced askance at the unnaturally pale, unsettling figure that had another, rather uncomfortable-looking inmate bailed up nearby.
'Good grief. I suppose that's synthflesh... Must have become more popular in the time I spent in stasis.'
He shook his head and turned to walk over to an empty corner of the Rec room.
>Find an empty space of wall, open my undefined book to a random page and prop it up against said wall.
>Then take a few paces back, take out my throwing dart and throw it at the book. Inspect where it landed, pick out the nearest proper noun as the new name for my gauss rifle.
"Whig."
Bruce didn't get the sarcasm.
It's an idea. He doesn't seem to like fights.
Start punching Bruce in the face until he complies.
Help him punch me in the face.
What follows is the strangest case of consensual fisting the ship has ever seen...at least since the last time May and Thomas were in the same room.
I see the ever decisive topic that is Ponies has reared it's head at last. My position on it is as follows:
I don't care if you want to paint your armor up like a pony, I don't care if you want to special order pony shaped bullets, I don't even care if you spend a vast fortune buying a custom pony synth-flesh body. All thats pure character stuff and if I was to stop any character action that could be seen as strange or stupid by other characters, then this game wouldn't exist. But Ponies, anime, crime drama, cartoons, 40k, and every other fandom, no matter how strong, shall not influence the world of ER in any undue way. The extent of any sort of "Infection" is the individual actions of a player.
So keep any feuds about it in game where you can just actively murder each other, and try to limit OOC arguments about liking or disliking this fandom or any other.
Fair enough?
