((I understand that you needed to get me into a briefing room, but the thing was that I missed several turns. If I didn't miss them, my action wouldn't be so big and unreasonable.
Here's the thing. Will we get more than one turn after that?))
Vich sat in his seat, quetly observing the others. If he was here longer, he wouldn't be so silent, but for now it was better to let the others do the talking. But the mission was not the one that filled his skillset, unfortunately, not that that will happen often. And he haven't proven himself yet after all, no need to seize the spotlight unnecessarily. On the other hand, staying completely quiet might not be the best idea either. They'd just think he dozed off.
"As a new recruit, I cannot really participate in choosing a leader, as I have not seen any action here yet. I abstain from voting."He then took the time to meet all the people gathered in the room, shaking their hand, or performing any other greetings appropriate here.
"Hello everyone. I am new here, just freshly out of stasis. My name is Vich, and I am mainly good at talking, which will probably prove useless over there, and I may or may not be reasonably fine with amps or manipulators.
"
Well, not the most shining speeches he had ever given, but will do for now.
How many people do we actually have in the Briefing Room? Because we may have 15, but I never saw a list.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
In an alternative reality or simply when Piecewise opens the doors:
1). Go to the kitchen and grab two frying pans and a dozen apples (if available).
Get a bottle of xeno Spit from AM.
Get Maldavian Rot from AM. Get (if free)
20 empty syringes from AM.
Get 3 liters of paint (0.75 liters of black, yellow, blue, and red).
Get a couple empty bottles.
2). Ask AM: As I understand, it is possible to link the video feeds between suits. Could you show me how to do it? Is it also possible to link the feeds between the suits and other devices, like tablets? If yes, I would like 6 tablets, which I understand are free too.Ask AM to show me how to link the video feeds. Get 6 tablets from AM.
3). Ask the Infirmary for when the glasses should be taken off. Explain that I am going to be stuck on a different world for about a year, and I'd like to know what if I should in any way take care of them, and when I should take them off.
4). Jog to the Armory and ask if I can buy the Sub-Exoskeleton Models listed. Then ask if they have a bicycle, and if they do, how much it costs and what varieties they have.
5). Get my ass to the VR Machines ones again, and look at what varieties and designs of bicycles are in use and listed there. Investigate the top five. (I am fairly confident that almost no one on this thread, nor as matter of fact in the entire Sci-Fi genre, has ever thought of using bicycles. I would be very sad if you retroactively corrected that, and denied me a prototype. )
6). Run some tests (always rolling 4):
Load up me on a clear field with a Microwave Manipulator. Create a scarecrow dummy 30 meters away from me that shows me what temperature he is currently at. Repeat all tests five times. Speed up the time as necessary to avoid starving to death while doing the experiments.
Heat him up to 300C (or whatever temperature I can reliably heat him up to) for each experiment.
Enter the equation, but wait 5 seconds before pressing the button.
Next time, wait 10 seconds. 20 seconds. 40 seconds. 60 seconds. Repeat gradually increasing the time before either the manipulator malfunctions or reaching 1 hour.
Next, simulate weather conditions.
First, just some moderate wind.
Next, some rain.
Snow.
Light hurricane.
If some crows fly over and begin poking the scarecrow after the equation is entered but before it's activation.
Hit by lightnings.
If someone runs and takes the scare-crow up and takes him (does it work fine but now on empty air? Or does something else entirely?)
Does it still work if the scare-crow is blown up by a Gauss Gun? Nuke?
Record the time it takes for the manipulator to malfunction for each of these.
(Example: 8-12 minutes in normal conditions, but 1-4 minutes in the rain. Et cetera.)
