Business as usual I suppose. Assess inventory. Go do some weighted squats and test out my new leg. Kick a table and see what happens.
You don't seem any stronger, but your kicking of the table does reveal that you don't feel pain.
"Hey, if I happen to die during this mission, can you make sure my pet hand is taken care of?"
>Yeah, sure, whatever.'Thanks for your answers. I'll be back to actually buy something.'
Go to my locker and, after making sure no-one is around, stuff my hunter CPU and Timmy Tear in it. Then go to the briefing room.
((When you say half-price, do you round down or up?))
You hide the spoils of war then head to the briefing room. (Rounded down usually)
"Any other swords that I can use?"
If they have a katana and I can use it buy it. Then ask about what sort of bullet using guns they have.
"No, we don't have any archaic metal swords. A monosword can cut through a damn tank, why do you want a katana? Also, gauss guns use bullets."
((Do you still need any understudys?))
Look around for someon non-murdererish.
I'll keep you on the list of understudies if people don't show.
Someone non-murderish...well...that guy kicking a table doesn't look to have a grudge against anything except tables.
(( Bah, so many goodies, so little tokens. full body prostesis, you WILL be mine someday))
cradle flamethrower
"youre not worthless, she doesn't know you like I do"
"I'll just take a MK.II suit then. Also, what's your favourite amp?"
Go the The Doctor
"Hey Doc, I got healed by some alien thingamajing on the mission, and I'm kind of worried about side effects. Would you mind giving me a once over?"
"Matter converter"
You buy a MKII before heading to he doctor he looks you up an down.
"You look fine to me. No mutations."
Roger goes to the Armoury. "If I turn in this Emergency Kit, how many tokens can I get for it?"
"Half price."
"About to leave? Does that mean it's too late to apply?" Gorat goes back to the main area as a dim memory resurfaces and he pales. "Oh sh... the bet. I... guess I lost it? How many tokens does that leave me with?"
>Yes. And 6. ((Oops, sorry. Was a bit busy))
Lukas takes a quick look at the picture before he puts the book back down on the AM's counter. "That book is some sick shit. I'll be back for it later."
Go to the briefing room.
You get your ass to the briefing room.
"Hrmmm. The thing with voice commands is that there is a possibility that someone else could order them around. The nerve connectors, that would just connect their brain to mine as long as the cord is attached right? Would they be able to re-connect after they finish an order?"
Questions! Ask them.
"Voice commands to be recognized as yours. And yeah, they'll reconnect."
The projector in the briefing room turns on but doesn't show anything.
(Renen and flint are no shows so Bruce and jac--joca--Jackinthebox are in)
>Congrats people, you've been drafted! Again. We've gotten a call that a group of civic defenders need some back up so guess what? You're it. After the jump you'll be transferred to their control for the duration of the mission. That means you follow their orders, not mine. I'm not sure what you'll be doing, but try to behave yourselves; they'll have control of the brain zapper and they're not as nice as me. If you have stuff to get, get it and get to the pods.
Questions? No? Good, get going.
