((Okay, new character. Hope it sticks this time.))
Name: Stacy Buttle
Age: 57
Gender: Male
Appearance: A short man fast approaching old age. Facial features unremarkable aside from a long, crooked, bony nose. What little there is left of his hair is already completely light gray. Perpetually smiles for no reason at all, his eyes usually blankly stare off into the distance. Voice: high-pitched. There is a noticeable feeling of something being not quite right emanating from this man.
Personal information: Stacy Buttle was an ordinary man who was looking forward to retiring from his filing clerk job in a few years when an unfortunate typo changed his life. The authorities, on the lookout for a certain traitorous rebel, accidentally misspelled said criminal's name in the order for his capture. Thus Stacy Buttle, who had never committed a crime in his life, was captured, his protests falling on deaf ears. Quickly processed and sentenced to all manner of horrible imprisonment, Stacy felt that things could not get worse. He was wrong. For you see, he was volunteered for a revolutionary new re-education program.
After several months, Stacy was reduced to a strange automaton, always smiling, never questioning. However, the most peculiar thing about the whole affair was that, while it had completely obliterated any vestiges of mental resistance left in him, it did, however, somehow give him increased mental focus and problem-solving skills, which naturally translated into skill with field manipulators. After they had tested their test subjects' (for there were more than one) field manipulator aptitudes, they found the results simply astounding. At the end of it all, they decided to keep experimenting with the younger, healthier ones and dispose of the rest in various ways. Stacy, being the oldest and least likely to survive, was shipped off to the HMRC, where he would hopefully meet an ignoble end amongst other misfits, just what criminal scum like him really deserve.
Reason assigned to HMRC: Disposed of after a most unsavory experiment. On paper (the one with the typo on it, obviously), murder, sedition, treason, vandalism.
