Jim goes over to the exercise machines, putting his swords in hammerspace for now (nobody else interested in buying right now, anyway, from what I can gather), and offers to act as a spotter for anyone lifting weights.
You walk over to the various machines and flex your enormous synth-flesh muscles.
"I will help you pump iron, Girly men!" You announce in as close to an Austrian accent as your robotic voice can allow.

"Damn."

Go investigate.
You stand up, holding the rifle in one hand and gritting your teeth as your arm flops limply at your side. You walk slowly toward the store, trying to hear over the falling rain. Nothing. You climb through the shattered windows and into the store, the soft rumbling of rain on the exposed metal of the roof filling the store and making you deaf to any minor sounds. You don't see anyone or anything around in the front of the store, or down any isles near you; the food the man dropped is gone though.

Duel.
The duel program allows you to fight any fight you would like to. It can be multiplayer with other inmates or against the pc, but in general you just have to specify the situation, the parameters, you and your opponent's armament and then get going.

Accept Jim's offer and start pumping iron!
[Str:3+1]
You chose a benchpress machine and give it a shot. You manage a few reps but soon find yourself struggling mightily, and jim steps in to help you get the weight back onto it's stand.

>Timmy.
You wake up in a haze, the world tinged red and your chest on fire with pain. The doctor is standing over you, looking down on you with an inscrutable expression. You try to move and find that your limbs are secured to the bed.

"You are an interesting specimen." The doctor says, "Full of unique compounds. And not entirely human from what I've found"

He goes silent for a moment before continuing.

"I'm not sure if we should keep you or not."

[Will:1] You scream. You scream like a little girl in pigtails and a tutu, flailing ineffectually like a starfish on meth.

"I would like to go on missions, Mr. Doctor. I've got my sentence to serve and all. I would also like to, um, not die and stuff. Yeah, I would really like that. Could you please let me go, kind Mr. Doctor, sir, I promise not to cause any trouble. Or I could cause some, if you want me to. Just say the word, and I'll do whatever you want me to. You could probably research me better if I went on missions, anyway! Just don't kill me, please?"
Timmy suddenly looks slightly stumped.
"Wait, what do you mean by not entirely human? Am I like some sort of magic mutant? 'Cause that would be cool."
((If I still have powers, I probably could turn him into ash, restrained though I am. I could also try to reform my limbs and any number of other perverse fleshcrafting tricks. I wouldn't like to harm the Doctor, though. He's my favorite NPC!))

((He's probably already thought of that and taken measures to stop that from happening. The NPC's on board are not so stupid to bring wake up someone who could disintergrate things with their mind after butchering them without some kind of safety measure in place.))

Roger ducks back into the trench and moves to the gauss cannon position, disregarding the shoulder wound.

((Timmy doesn't know the full extent of his powers, so it is entirely reasonable to think that the Doctor doesn't either. However, I'm sure the "world tinged with red and chest on fire with pain" implies a Willpower penalty, and a notable one at that.))

((Also, I'm not sure what would happen to somebody Timmy tries to unmake if a 5 is rolled. Or, for that matter, a 2, 3, 4 or 6.))

((All the more reason to try it as soon as possible. Barring extremely unfortunate timing, I am definitely volunteering for the next mission.))

Exit VR and go on a exercise machine if available.

"Steve, when the next mission is accounced I'd like to volunteer ahead of time is that ok?"

((Duel seems a bit confusing.))
