"Then you better drop it, nice and slow.  Let's do this the easy way, right?"

Say above.  Be prepared to fire if he attacks.

Also recall if there are penalties for damaging the goods, so to speak.

Bishop blinked multiple times, trying to discern if he was seeing this right or if his visons were playing up again.

"Huh. Looks like it's dead, whatever it is. Hey, I got an idea, why don't you just follow me for a sec to the medbay and we can show the doc this... Whatever it is... and maybe he can find out more about it? I'm sure we ALL want to know what it is... Come on then."

He backed away slowly and motioned for Timmy to follow. Maybe the doctors will actually pay attention now...

Escort Timmy and the thing he's holding to the medbay, keeping a healthy distance from both, and find the doctor. Leave this mess in HIS capabilities.

Nuclear weapon in hand, cradled like a child, you walk into the Rec room and take a seat on the couch. Ahhh.

You keep your rifle aimed at the man. It's only half pay if you cripple or kill him, but that doesn't mean you can't shoot him a little bit.
[dex:3]
[man dex:6+1]
The man looks to be complying, dropping the food when he makes his move. In a blur he grabs your rifle and jerks the barrel away from his chest, pointing it at the ceiling, and tries to tear it from your hands.
[str:1]
[str:6+1]
He rips it from your grasp with ease and in the same motion hurls it across the store and through one of the smashed windows.

(we'll have to see if he goes with you.)

Kick out his knee.

"Wrong choice."

[dex:2]
[man dex:5+1]
[man str:6+1]
[end:1]
The man moves before you can even draw your leg back, catching your right arm in his massive hands and lifting you off your feet. The world becomes a blur of movement and pain as the worker smashes you straight through one of the metal shelves and sends you rolling several feet down the neighboring isle. You finally stop, face down, with your right elbow twisted at a completely unnatural angle.
[end:2]
You groan, too stunned to do anything but wallow in the agony. That could have gone better.

"I don't really want to go the med bay. The doctor there was kind of mean. But maybe she'll be able to help Mr. Pillow!"
Go with Bishop to the med bay. Seek help for Mr. Pillow.
"It's too bad Mr. Pillow's all sick. You should have seen him twenty minutes ago, breathing like a champ! Oh, by the way, wanna see the thing I got my magic from?"

Introduce self to team. Use kinetic amplifier to beat down those trying to be smartarses (Regardless of any inclination they have.)

((It is kind of difficult to beat somebody non-fatally with a kinetic amplifier. At best you're going to break a third of the bones in their body, at worst you'll accidentally punch yourself and turn into a fine red mist. Besides, isn't Karen a conventional weapons mercenary? Wouldn't it be wise to at least pack a conventional weapon? Also, introducing yourself without handling the dialogue yourself creates a speech roll. A 1 in speech usually results in brutal physical violence or sexual harassment of the highest degree. If I'm not mistaken, you have a -1 for speech rolls.))

And what yoink said: This'll be entertaining.))

((Well, yeah, it will be, but permakilling somebody is still inadvisable. After all, kinetic amps can easily explode somebody's head with only the shockwave they produce.
EDIT: But then again, it's entertaining. And if it gets out of hand, Jim can probably reduce any offenders to a pile of disjointed flesh. After all, poor behavior on the ship is kind of a pet peeve of his.))

((I had already warned Tari. Actually, he apparently decided to do it after I told him.

So yeah, I don't think anyone can convince him to back down but himself.))

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.
