Timmy drops low and swings an awkward kick toward Roger's leg, connecting mid-shin and trying to knock him off his feet. Roger stumbles for an instant but regains his footing easily.

You hop into the vr machine, put on the helmet and gloves and jam the iv into your arm. The computer brings up the program choices.

Something mechanical like a exoskeleton neck brace is going to be a hell of a lot easier and cheaper then synth-flesh.

You could just basically get just part of a normal exoskeleton. That would work.

As you waddle through the door you catch a glimpse of something zipping toward you head. You leap forward, sliding on your stomach as a heavy piece of rebar hisses by just above your head. Implement the exoskeleton neckbrace into the neck armor and connect it to the helmet. Then put the lot onto a dummy and see how it handles it with the brace activated when standing, walking, running, jumping and crawling.
