Save the Claws of Life file and exit VR.
Head to the infirmary, get mobile.
Then head to the armoury, refill or restock everything that needs to be done except my suit.  See how many tokens I have left.

Once more Gorat is staggering, now from the operation. Didn't I see signs pointing to a rec room? I'll head there for a bit. He light one of the standards on the way, and once there introduces himself with "G'day. Gorat Ivanos." if anyone is present, looks around, and sits down to watch the TV for a bit.

Test a whole new combined plate with explosions, refreshing the state of the plate as I change the explosions in degreees of heat and force. See if I can find the limit of how much this thing can take.

Hearing Steve's announcement, Kyle logged out of the VR, heading towards the armory to buy a microwave manipulator, before heading to the briefing room.

"I suppose I might as well sign up for this now. This is Kyle, reporting for duty."

You want shrapnel in there too? Because frankly, you're gonna liquify your lungs before the pressure ever breaks the helmet. As per heat...you're fairly safe from anything conventional, just don't stick your head in a star or something.

You strike the most awesome pose you can while checking around for a mirror. You can't see one.

What looks like some sort of cross between a robot, a SWAT officer and a metal beetle wanders in and whips out an enormous cleaver. Upon closer inspection it appears that he has the skin off a human face stretched and bolted over the featureless metal thing where a head should normally be.

Seeing Thrak, Kyle decided on subtly moving into the rest of the crowd, away from the robot abomination with the oversized butchery too.

That's... unsettling. I've nothing against cybernetics, but that's going a bit too far... or perhaps a few miles too far.

Taking a seat at the end of the briefing room, Kyle asked (fairly softly)

"Hey Steve, who here would you say is the closest approximation to sanity? I'm trying to decide a good plan for not dying horribly, and finding the more sensible people here seems like a decent place to start.."

Purchase a Mark II suit and a monoatomic razor, return the Mark I suit, and head to the briefing room.
