Gerald is going to go to the armory and buy a Monorazor and an Emergency kit. He will also buy an historic novel

He gives a nod of acknowledged to the person walking in.

Omega 911 suits up and takes a walk around the halls to size up the competition.  Passing by the research lab, he wonders how he could possible get in, given the giant sign forbidding the entrance of recruits.  Of course he walks past the two standing outside, as they are obviously unable to provide him with any actually useful intelligence.  He enters the docking bay, and notes the lockers.  Finding his locker, he dons his suit, and exits.  He passes by the infirmiry as there is obviously nothing wrong and so many things right with him, and goes into the armory.  He attempts to assess the danger of the person sitting behind the kiosk, as the higher-ups surely wouldn't set a weakling to guard the weapons, considering the state of the press-ganged commoners around here.

He puts on his MK I suit, and tries to figure out how dangerous the Armory Master is.

As Hasala disconnects from the VR machine and stretches, he notices someone he hasn't seen yet, standing in the doorway. @Pufferfish: "Hello. I don't recognize you; fresh out of stasis?"

Well, I'm trying to improve my precision. Rolling as I normally would, try to cut off only the dummy's right arm with a beam of heat.

[Gentlefish]

Ciel freezes as she is acknowledged.

"Yes, if you could call it Stasis. I am Ciel. This is The Sword yes?"

Try to remember what stasis was like and any thoughts I might have had.

Then go to VR and load up a basic microwave PK amp testing course.

Hasala nods. "The Paracelsus' Sword, yes. A HMRC convict ship; or rather, ex-HMRC ship. Has anyone talked to you about the rebellion yet?"

[Gentlefish]

She frowns; nothing was ever simple.

"No, no rebellion has been mentioned. Is that how they use us now? To fight their rebellions?"

Hasala grinned. "They wouldn't've dared. Too many political prisoners. No, we're the rebellion; the HMRC itself rebelled against the UWM. None of us are prisoners anymore. I assume Steve - our AI - wouldn't have woken you from stasis if you weren't likely to join us, but leaving and settling down on a planet is available, if the thought of fighting against the UWM doesn't appeal to you."

[Gentlefish]

Ciel sucks on her teeth a moment. Don't have to serve, I suppose... But what fun would that be? There's plenty of folk I wouldn't mind killing in the UWM.

She decides rather quickly.
"Sounds like fun. What's the current plan of action?"

"Well, we've been going from planet to planet and doing missions; there's a set going on right now, so you'll have to wait for the next set to go on one. Or hope one of the teams screw up badly enough to justify reinforcements..." Hasala appears distracted for a second, but recovers quickly. "Anyways, those of us who don't go on missions stay aboard the Sword and find ways to occupy themselves until the mission teams return. Mostly in this room, actually. VR machines, TV, computers to access the Internet, exercise machines." Hasala gestures in the direction of each as he lists them off. "There's also Nyars, but that costs tokens - you should have five, check your wristpad or locker in the hangar - and is probably dangerous. He sells stuff from the old R&D, and this being the former HMRC... Oh, and I think you can get alcohol, drugs, et cetera from the Armory. No idea if that costs anything, though.

"Longer term, we're fighting the UWM for the outer rim worlds, at the moment. UWM support is too strong in the core worlds, for now. Ask Steve or one of the generals - Miyamoto or Milno, ((Hasala doesn't know Jim's a general.)) both off-ship at the moment -  if you'd like details."

[Pancaek]

Pancaek is wandering towards the medbay, shrugging off his t-shirt as he mutters under his breath. Passing the rec room, he sees Hasala talking to someone new.

"Hey, Hasala. Who'se the freshly thawed popsickle you're talking to?"

He eyes the new blood, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Don't tell me, lass, you want to play with space magic?"

Give Dumbo back his token seeing as miya is being the bane of my existence again.

Use handiwork bonus to modify my gauss rounds to contain 3 hollow chambers each and fill them with my neotherm chemicals whilst making sure to take only one chemical at a time, seal each hollow before moving to the next, and keeping the source canister away from the elbow knock zone.

"Ciel. Sky, huh? cute. But you can see that she's into space magic. It's in her eyes man. You can clearly see the sort of madness that makes someone want to fuck around with the fabrics of space. I should know, I see it every time I look at myself in the mirror."

He looks Hasala in the eyes with his black, unblinking cameyes

"But that's going to change soon. Reeeeaaal soon. Mark my words."
