((Yeah, but the nob only goes up to 5. If you can't crank it up higher than that, what's the use? I mean, the rifle might explode, or be very expensive, or both, but that's of minor concern.

If anyone wants to update the wiki, feel free. It makes my phone cry.))

Ulrich Leland. Location: Rec room. Mission 5 replay, between houses 5 & 6

I'm just trying to spread party mood with Neural Amp, but if that's how it works in virtual enviroment, sure, implant Thrak AI.
And continue conversation with Steve.

Ulrich quickly reads through the mission report. While he usually doesn't value morals much, even he have some standards!
I knew HMRC were insane serial killers, but this is seriously sick shit! Especially that Mesk fellow, hope he didn't drag the kid to other missions... And Jim, exploding people to skies. To think I was going to pickpocket him...

"Computer, please tell me Mesk didn't do anything else to that little kid he kidnapped during this mission?"

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)

The lone excited hooting is suddenly joined by another, distant call to the party gods. Somewhere in the dark, a new fraternity is being formed.

>Anything worse then kill their parents in front of them? No. They're actually on the ship right now.

Can we level up now?

Head to tinker.

Sell some things. I need some money to buy a mk3.
Quote from: FOR SALE
Laser rifle 1 token
Civic defenders longcoat 2 tokens
You can level up now. Standard level up. I'll let you handle the changing of stats and inventory on the wiki.

"Slow news day."
Look for some sport event. Ideally motor sport. With everyone clothed.

With everyone clothed
Kill Joy.

You find something that is technically within your parameters.

If my irreverent youtubing is annoying you, just let me know.

Drop the knife for now and just focus on thinning the horde with the bat and cleaver. Attack constantly, but fall back into a more defensive position like an alleyway if Jim gets three or more people too close to take down quickly. Do this until only two people are left.
You twack and chop, but the horde is getting smart; they're staying back out of your range as you retreat. You walk into a dead end allyway, just  large enough to permit you to swing relatively unhindered. The men move into the alley with you, their numbers limited to two at a time, but they keep out of your range still, trying to make lunges after your swings.

"Huh. Didn't really think that would work. Hey Mesk, can I borrow 3 tokens to get a weapon? This rifle might be a bit difficult to fire and I don't really want to break my bones every time I shoot something with the Shackle. I'll pay you back after the next mission I go on. Please?" Jason asks.

((Hey PW, how long until I regain mobility?))
Ahhhh, assume you can get around in a wheel chair or whatever, but you should be walking again by the time the rest of the missions get in and we're jumping to the next solar system to fuck up.

"Sure.  Take three, pay me back later.  Hmm... Jobasio, take a token, that was good driving.  I'll keep the last two for now, I want to figure something out first."
Leave the briefing room, head to the med bay and look for the Doctor.

(Did we get level ups for the mission?)
Yeah, level yourself up or get one of the many helpful wiki gnomes to do it for you.

You head to the med bay and find the doctor just lazing about.

Kai sits down in a corner, repeatedly mouthing "this is not happening" to himself.
Could be worse. You could have been on that mission. Well, at least you have a little while till the next one. Time to write a will, contemplate traumatic amputation, use your flesh one more time, you know, the normal stuff.

After getting the three tokens from Mesk, Jason makes his way to the armory.

Get 3 tokens from Mesk. Go to Armory and buy Microwave Amp.
WIKI IT.

Sambo Jin blinks, yawns and stands up from his bunk.

"Wow, what a fucken trip. Must have dozed off for a bit."

Sambo looks around, takes stock of his possessions and see's if there's anyone else in the bunk room.
I've got no clue what you've got unless it's on the wiki.
http://einsteinianroulette.wikia.com/wiki/Sambo_Jin
Assume that be it.

Sambo goes to his locker and puts on his Mk1 suit (if available, after turning his K.amp off, then turning it back on when he is dressed, yet smelly), grabs all the stuff he still has and takes stock of everything

((Just need to know what I've got and what I'm wearing))

"Steve. Thanks for the kip, but you might have overdone it a bit. Arm's nice though. Only hurt a shitload getting it on. Thanks for the rest but. Anything I need to know right now?"

edit: gotta remember PW's sense of humour. Turn amp off, do something basic, turn amp back on :)
You put on your MK1 and grab the stuff in your locker.

>Only that next time you go brain dead for a prolonged period of time we might eject you from the airlock to save space. Or re-purpose you as office furniture.

((oh, in case we can still level up from that utter clusterfuck, Here's my stat increases:

+5 STR
+1 handy
+2 aux

If not, then ignore me))
WIKI IT
Kai looks up

O-Oh G-God! Th-Th-This is h-happening!

Kai gets up and aimless wanders around the ship for a few hours, trying to get over his initial shock.
HEY THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A WILL ROLL!

At a -1 penalty. Hehe

Aw...you got a 5 so you only get a 4. Darn it.

Well you manage to talk yourself into some degree of self confidence over the course of an hour or so, telling yourself that, as long as you're careful and stay smart, that everything should be fine.

It took bravery. It took a lot of use of her shaky language skills. It took quite a lot of things. But best of all, it took but two hours to discover quite a few permutations of things that aren't really written down on the Armory 'menu', so to speak. And now, with a piece of paper that has quite a few scrawls on it, the Chief returns to the great black beast infesting the hangar, to ask if the things she has discovered are good enough.

Return to Miyamoto, having retroactively spent all this time semi-productively.

"I have the datums on a few things, as you asked."

"Hmm. Yes, nice work. You have earned your token."

Quote
I have two questions: do I get my token for this, and can I get one more if I add 10 more items?
((Yes, and yes. The kinetic jump boots were a bit silly, but you had eleven so it's ok.

Could you do me a favor and update your wiki page and the funds page? I'm on a phone and editing the wiki from a phone is hell in a bottle.))

Harry baldman gets 1 token.
One token to Bald harryman. WIKI IT

Maurice pet the catgirl a little more.
Make sure I am wearing my 'civilian' labcoat and no weapons.
Then venture off into the Great Unknown! Unmarked ship areas, that is. Take Lyra along if she feels like so.
Look for crewmembers and interesting places.

Steve, could you please guide us to the crew equivalent of Rec Room? Somewhere they gather to eat or recreate.

>I haven't authorized that sort of thing yet. Some of the crew is understandingly nervous about former inmates. Would you mind if we keep an escort with you, if only for the sake of appearances till they get more comfortable with you?

"I will continue working, then, for more profit."

Accept token, and head over to the Armory Master to ask about prices on flashbangs and tear gas grenades, if available.

While there, also determine the cost and general nature of a stun baton.

And finally, get a precise figure on the cost of a Protectorate Suit - to be specific, where exactly in the neighborhood of 10-13 tokens it is. Also, why do they call it the Protectorate Suit?

And finally finally, determine what exactly High Guard Armor is, and why it's so damn heavy, and who are these High Guards and why they need to wear armor such as this?

I forget the price I quoted on those for before. I think it was one token for several wasn't it?

Stun baton, as in an electrified baton, would be like 1 token.

Protectorate suits are essentially similar to Milno's modified MKIII. They're a batteskin which increases the strength, endurance and speed of the wearer while also protecting them from damage. They can't fly and don't dodge as well, but if used right, with the counter driven fighting style the Heavy protectorates use, it is very effective. And it's named that because the ones who use it are called "Heavy Protectorates"

Faith fought a pair of high guards already. Check the Ice-9 mission.

"On totally unrelated note, what are rules for messing with other people?"

Keep talking.
Keep spreading party mood with Amp. At least one more, maybe two. Remaining civilians might join the party on their own.
Regardless of result, slip out behind buildings and sneak to near house 8. Keep looking around.

"Hey, there.  I have a question that you might find interesting.  Or you might not, I dunno.  Well, essentially I just want to know what would happen if I tried to insert an amp or decomp into my brain.  Would my body reject it?  Actually, would it even be possible to cut through my head far enough to get in there for long enough?"

Go to the rec room instead of following Maurice. Look around to see who's there, what they're doing.

Oh, we wanted to pay a visit to the non-former-convict population of the ship - the crew, it is. If you want, you could join us... though, honestly, I'm not sure if that's a good idea. The civilians might just lack the fair sense of humor and take offence at your rudeness.

That would be most reasonable, Steve. Establishing good relationships is, after all, one of the main reasons I'd like to go.

"No, no, I mean, why are people who wear... the suits called Protectorates? It is a strange word that I do not know. Sounds like 'protect', but with a tail at the end, you see? I am sorry that I need to ask. I am not taught about these things," the Chief asks of the Armory Master, careful to speak as correctly as she can.

It is becoming increasingly clear that to obtain a clear answer, the Chief needs to phrase questions in very separate ways. It is perhaps a quirk of this language. She pauses to get an answer to the above question, nodding attentively at whatever the Armory Master replies. Surely either wisdom or terrible rudeness will ensue.

"I see. Does... the stun baton need 'batteries'? It uses electricity, you said?"

If it does, she inquires as to how much they cost and how long they last, in terms of good, hard whacks performed. Is it 20-30 whacks at least?

"Also, I noticed there is a type of armor here. Milno-Plate. How much is a chest plate, back plate and helmet in tokens?" she says, pointing to a part of the armory menu seemingly written in crayon rather than the more official black lettering.

She checks the price of a helmet, a chest plate and a back plate in tokens - should be seven, right, with the helmet costing one, pretty much?

"Before I forget, are there any books of words here? You know, books with many words with explanations added to them."

Are there any dictionaries in book form? Like, an HMRC-themed one? An ordinary one will do as well, obviously, like an Oxford-7 Galactic Compendium of Moon English.
