(( What I find most impressive is that it looks a lot like the glitch towns you find in-game. I don't suppose you ransacked one for that base, did you? :P ))
For some parts, specifically the roof tiles, bell and those armor stands and swords. The rest is plunder from the far reaches of the galaxy, straight up to Sector X, in search of platinum.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

You have to buy it on Steam, pretty sure.

I don't have Steam open and I don't have Starbound myself, but I heard 10 or 15, not sure which. One of the guys who bought it could tell you... but they're probably too busy playing it, I guess. :P

Fuck my reading comprehension today. For some reason I thought you asked how much it was. I must be more tired than I thought. @_@

Excuses aside, I dunno. Bigger than Terraria, probably, which is only like 63 MB according to the game folder. I would guess less than 150?

((It's actually 3 gigabytes installed, and a 1.3GB download.

The soundtrack alone is half a gig, what'd you expect?

Also, OOC.))

(...Damn. >.> Probably wrong about Terraria too, then, but I don't feel like booting up Steam right now...)

(( Yeah, it's pretty massive, Unholy. Took me about a half hour to download it on a cable connection, was actually quite surprised. I think it's all the elements for the procedural gen stuff. It has a lot of data, but it can gen so much more than just what it has.

And @SC, you're actually completely correct. Terraria is only 48 megs

And @PW, nice. I haven't made it out of Alpha sector yet, but it's finals week so I haven't really had play time XD ))

((No, Terraria is tiny. It's got a basic soundtrack and tiny sprites. Starbound has lots of fairly large sprites in comparison, lots of procedural elements, and a humongous soundtrack.

Although part of that is really the Linux distributions packaged alongside. A gigabyte of data that Windows users don't rightly need.))

(( Really? *goes to poke around* Huh. I thought Steam would be smarter than that. Or is this more on the Dev's not properly labeling files as windows/linux/mac only? Cause I see that not only is there a linux version, there's a 64-bit linux, mac, and 32-bit windows ))

((Yeah, it's probably a side-effect of the somewhat rapid release of the beta.))
