((Probably Dex and Uncon, same as the Kinetic Amp, the Monoatomic Razor or the Tesla Saber in combat. If that's still the way it works, that is.))

((It's difficult to say, all in all. I am pretty sure they used to need dexterity rolls, but I am not at liberty to say if that is still the case. In the Kinetic Amp's case, for instance, you used to roll for dexterity to see if you hit and then roll for unconventional weapons to see what the damage is. Considering how rarely people actually use unconventional melee weapons in melee combat, it's hard to say.))

((I think the dexterity rolls are used for hitting moving things that have a chance to dodge. In the case of this door (see end of post), no dex roll was used.))

Speaking of, I just thought of a cheaper way to make an electrolaser rifle - though only cheaper in the short term.
A replacement battery for an Arc Saber is 3 token, a Laser Rifle is 2 - theoretically there isn't going to be a whole lot of extra stuff needed to make the same spark gap system the Red Hand uses. Assuming the same power draw, you'll burn through at least six rifle batteries before you'll need to change the saber battery... hm. Cheap and cheerful, in a way. Far from perfect, but low-cost.. I'll have to test it once I get back... in a year. ._.))
