Why? Do you think I'm doing it wrong, or do you think what I am trying to do is impossible?

(( problem: we make a door to an illusion of the sword.

solution: the one of us who knows LESS about it needs to be the one making the exit. then the other one can check for errors.

for example, i have never met may. i can't create a fake may. you have and can.

if you want to make the door anyway, and yours works and mine doesn't i still have a backup plan for checking, but it's not as good.))

Hmmm. No harm in trying, I think.
Unless we get stranded in an alternate reality existing in our minds only. Eww.

((Ah, I got it. Actually, as the Armory Master is supervising this illusionary reality, she probably can adjust it so that we wouldn't be able to tell any difference from the real Paracelsus Sword. Which will get real awkward if we really create another illusion instead of escaping this one. But at that point we'll either find a way to tell the difference, or will have lost our characters to life-long coma of illusory HMRC service. Which would be highly ironic. ;D ))

EDIT:
((Problem: this is a shared illusion controlled by a third party.))
((Exactly.))

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

((Ah, I got it. Actually, as the Armory Master is supervising this illusionary reality...))
((i'm not sure she's supervising it. this could be a fire-and-forget technique.))

((one issue i've been working on is the mechanics of how the illusion is being shared. i'm not sure we're even in our own mindspace. the exit we need to make might be a door back to our own minds, rather than to the sword. the problem is making that kind of door if we actually ARE in our own minds for this illusion could have some really nasty side-effects, as well as being non-productive.))

((Or maybe dying in this illusion will snap you out of it, like a bad dream. Or it kills you off for real. Who knows!))
((Unless the resuscitation doesn't work inside the illusion, that is a very dangerous gamble, as perma-dying in reality is not an option (well, unless I wanted to roll for another character, which I don't). Still, thanks for trying to help!
((i'm not sure she's supervising it. this could be a fire-and-forget technique.))
... i'm not sure we're even in our own mindspace. ...
That is... certainly possible. Still, the brute force approach I'm currently following might work as well, so here is hoping for the best.

That said, I think I have a back-up plan as well, but it may backfire on Maurice if we escape for real. Oh well, collateral damage is always to be expected, right? :) ))

Jim reactivates, examines himself for damage, checks on Feyri (if possible), and then heads for the debriefing.

Bruce laid about in the debriefing room, trying to get comfy in the plastic seats, when he saw one of the members from the mission come in, as he saw her he had a flashback, he saw himself, tired and angry, he saw the woman, almost comatose and he saw a man, sticking a sword in his gut. He snapped out of it with a jump and decided to go talk to the girl.
"Hi, I'm not sure if I know your name, do I?"
Talk to May.

May put her finger to the edge of her lips. "I'm May......You're....Bob, right?"
